Has anyone installed this yet, are you worried about the fact this can’t be resanded due to 0.6mm hardwood layer?
Most other engineered floorboards have around 4mm.
We’re about to to install it at our house in Melbourne, Mat.
We went with this product because it’s really almost a laminate with the bonus of a real timber vernier – scratch and damage resilience is what we’re after. With a 25 year warranty, we’ll most likely be replacing our flooring for new after its lifetime instead of sanding and re-treating.
We also looked at installing the Quickstep Matt Finished Spotted Gum. It’s fantastic, but we were concerned that our kids and the dog would shorten its scratch and damage free life.
