In collaboration with The Rug Collection, interior designer and The Block judge Shaynna Blaze, has launched her first ever rug collection, Textured Coast.
Inspired by the texture and colours of the Australian coast, the six-piece collection is a mix of neutral tones and calming greys, aiming to add depth, texture and warmth to any interior.
“The beach can be soft, harsh and inviting, all at the same time,” explains Shaynna. “Like the ever-changing moods of the ocean, I wanted the designs and colours of the rugs to take on different depths and textures from every direction. The rugs not only look textural, but feel soft underfoot, with carving representing the rippling sands and coral from the ocean floor.”
Crafted from 100% hand tufted New Zealand wool and artsilk, the rugs are available in two sizes: 160 x 230cm ($1,295) and 200 x 290cm ($1,795).
The collection will be available at leading national retailers from March.
