For any Sydneysiders considering a career in interior design, the open day of Billy Blue College of Design and CATC Design School in Ultimo is the perfect place to visit tomorrow (Saturday).
Attendees can hear from design industry experts, participate in workshops, meet lecturers and current students and chat to course and career advisors.
The open day will also mark the official launch of the brand new Ultimo campus which, situated in a converted heritage building, has a unique urban vibe that comes from its rich inner city history. With more than 3,000sqm over three levels, the college supports a variety of learning spaces including shared services hubs for student support and exhibition spaces. It will feature open spaces, natural light, high ceilings and have an industrial edge. It will also have a combined café-library to invite students to come on campus to relax and collaborate.
