We are into the FINAL week of the rapid renovation challenge with Australia’s rapid renovation expert, Naomi Findlay and we are so excited to share the all important results of what the 4.5 weeks of transformation has done for the properties value.
Last week, we took a look at the updated and completely modernised main bathroom and the chic master bedroom. Naomi explained the changes she’s made, both big and small, and how both spaces have been designed to maximise value and appeal to the widest segment of the market possible.
We also got to check out newly transformed dining room and completely rejuvenated entertainers kitchen. Naomi walked us through the process of how the team created ‘flow’ through the kitchen and into the dining area and added value with clever features and a scaled back aesthetic.
Today, it’s crunch time and we finally get the chance to hear about just how much the transformation has improved the properties rental potential. The current owner has had the property as part of their portfolio for over twenty years and rented it out for the majority of that time.
At the beginning of the four weeks, the current weekly rental for the property was $485. In today’s video, Colleen, the current agent, reveals just how much of a difference the Rapid Renovation Challenge has made to the weekly rental. And with 10 prospective tenants already registered to view the property straight after filming, we don’t think it took very long to find a new family to enjoy this gorgeous property. Colleen also reveals just how much the property is worth n0w, should it be sold on the current market.
