Applications are open for The Block 2013

Calling all Blockheads! If you want to apply for the next season of The Block, here’s what you need to know:

  • Couples must be aged between 18-65, energetic and with a sense of humour.
  • First round couples will be reduced to final participants in the first week of filming.
  • Successful couples must be available for a 10-week shoot period in early 2013. Exact dates to be confirmed closer to filming.
  • Location of The Block 2013 is to be confirmed.
  • You will NOT be able to work during the shoot period.
  • Previous home renovation experience is an asset, but not required from both partners.
  • Long term couples, family teams and enduring friendships need only apply.
  • Submissions accepted from Australia wide.
  • Successful participants will be paid a nominal weekly fee during filming of The Block to cover basic living costs and expenses.
  • You must complete all elements of the application, including video, in order to be considered for The Block.
  • Applications can only be made online. Hardcopy submissions will not be accepted or processed.
  • McGregor Casting will carefully review applications for consideration of inclusion in The Block 2013. Blocklisted applicants will be contacted during November 2012.
  • Due to the volume of applications, only successful applicants will be notified.

With cancer it was too late and sadly he passed. She is sill living in this
House they bought in Broken Hill untouched and it is a builder/designer dream to work on.I love my friend and I think
This will help heal her heart and let go
Please consider my request even though we are in the middle of nowhere in Broken Hill
It could make for great television coming to such a historic town!

Hey theree I would l I ve for the block to renovate my house it would be a great project but I need a lot of help and ideas with the renovation I have a two storey house but I its already half renovated frome previous tenants which happend to do a really bad job !! Please help us WE NEED YOUS !! 🙂

I am a kiwi living in Qld, Australia, and my best friend of many many years, still lives in New Zealand but she would come to live in Aus for the series if we made it thru, can we still enter??
