Bedroom before and after
I love a good before and after! Monique Sartor of Sartorial Interiors created this lovely bedroom for her client.
“The client wanted the large bedroom to have a few bigger and contemporary, quality pieces and for the overall feel to be of a tranquil santuary,” said Monique.
“We used divine fabrics from Marco in a dark taupe and light mineral blue in silk and velvet for the soft furnishings and had custom made lampshades on Bloomingdale bedsides which contrasted with the taupe blinds framing either side of the king bed. We had a heavily textured painting commissioned which incorporated the neutral palette of the room with an added splash of silver to emphasise the luxe feel. The dark whengi tones of the furniture provided a solidity and strength to the otherwise visual softness.”
