David Clark to leave Vogue Living today

In news that has taken many people in the industry by surprise, Vogue Living editor in chief David Clark will leave the magazine today. I don’t know David personally, but have heard only good words about him. In fact, somebody said to me last night: “David Clark IS Vogue Living”.

NewsLifeMedia, which also owns Inside Out (whose  former editor Richard Waller was replaced by Claire Bradley this year) announced the move on Wednesday.

All the best for the future David, and congratulations on almost a decade at the helm of Vogue Living. Here’s a video of David interviewing British design icon Ilse Crawford earlier this year.

Nick Smith, the editor in chief of GQ, will act as editor while a replacement is sought.

One reply on “David Clark to leave Vogue Living today”

Im not surprised at all actually. I used to buy every issue of VL & now only do occasionally & even then I usually close it feeling very un inspired.
Im looking forward to seeing what the next editor bring to the fold & hope that its worthy of spending my cash on it religiously once again!
