Macrame neon bedheads, for big kids and small

These are a bit cool. And they’re tapping into two current trends: neon (yes, still not going anywhere) and macrame (tell me you’ve seen those pot plant hangers?).

The Neon Vintage macrame bedheads are handmade in Brisbane and stocked by Petite Vintage Interiors. Of course they’re not actually a bedhead, more a suggestion of a bedhead. They just look fab. No practical use whatsoever. But  the same can be said of jewellery. Case in point?!

And while they come in sizes from single to king bed, they would look cool in other rooms too. Think of them as a piece of wall art. The possibilites are endless for neon fans!

Childrens interior designer Belinda Kurtz, of Petite Vintage, says: “They’re bang on trend with macrame but there is nothing else like them in Australia at the moment (that I am aware of anyway). I love them for their versatility; being able to use one as a wall hanging in a lounge room or as a bed head. I can visualise one being used as a room divider in an industrial space but I am equally excited by using one in a teen bedroom design. They are works of art in my eyes.”

They take at least 10 hours each to make and cost from $590. Contact Petite Vintage Interiors via their Facebook page for more info or to place an order.
