I hope you have a wonderful day with your loved ones. And a special thought for all those, like me, who are away from home at this special time of year and may be feeling a little homesick.
Christmas is so magical but can also be a sad and challenging time for many people. If this is you, my thoughts are with you. If it isn’t, maybe make a quick call or drop a text to someone you know who might be cheered up by knowing someone is thinking of them. It might just make their day.
Although I always miss my family in the UK more than ever at this time of year, today I’ll be counting my blessings and celebrating my first Christmas as Mrs Francis with my husband and (now official) in-laws.
