Bursting onto the scene just two years ago, Eadie Lifestyle’s covetable range of cushions, throws and bedding is designed by a small in-house creative team and features bespoke fabrics woven and dyed by Indian artisans. It’s a stylish range that is not too focused on current trends – instead, inspiration is drawn from the fictional character of Eadie herself.

“Eadie is a character that I step into when I design the collections,” reveals managing director Trudie Cox. “She has a distinct personality and identity. I know the wine she drinks, the art she appreciates and everything in the range is inspired by an Eadie experience – whether it be a love affair or a destination she has recently visited.”

The brand eschews trends and instead creates timeless, enduring pieces that people can enjoy for many years. “Our mantra is to offer a really good investment piece and to be the landscape behind the more seasonal decorative cushions that you can buy. We’re about designing something that can last many years,” says Trudie.

“I deliberately don’t follow trends or surround myself with them. I really channel into Eadie and her personality and what comes from the heart. That really guides us. We work off gut instinct and create what we love. We’ve got some really lovely timeless designs and it’s just a matter of giving them a seasonal tweak.”

The 2016 winter collection is a Scandi-inspired range with a younger feel than what we’ve come to expect from the brand. “I wanted it to be fresh, light, happy and more fun,” says Trudie, who has incorporated plenty of nice new textures and screen-prints. We love!
