Sydney bathroom specialists Candana Designs has turned the big 30 and is celebrating with a new website. The company has masterminded the look and feel of countless residential and commercial bathrooms throughout Australia and inspired a bathroom design culture that has continued to impress the industry and consumers.
Managing director Marc Reed says: “The business has been in the family from the beginning, with family members being integral to its growth and longevity. We have built so many strong relationships with leading interior designers, architects and the consumer. The grandchildren of our earlier clients are now coming in for new business.”
The team prides itself on perfect craftsmanship. “Being designers ourselves, we devote a great deal of time and thought into researching and observing each and every client’s existing or planned bathroom so we can anticipate their needs and wants,” he adds.
The flagship showroom in Woollahra and second showroom in Brookvale showcase a diverse mix of decedent architecture and design work featuring a working shower area, unique handcrafted basins and a large selection of original bathroom accessories. The extensive range is a combination of Australian and European brands such as Hansgrohe, Grohe, Villeroy and Boch, Duravit, Omvivo, Boyd, Laufen, Kaldewei. The team works closely with manufacturers and importers, advising them on market demands and attending many of the major overseas exhibitions.
Candana’s new website isn’t just great for customers. Architects, interior designers and builders now have the ability to log in and create their product specification list online, complete with product dimensions and pricing. “We recognised the need in the industry for this service a while ago and have been working hard to make it as comprehensive as possible,” said Reed.
