Win a ticket to a full-day social media seminar in Sydney next week

I know how many of you out there would love to get a better handle on using social media for your business. Good news! I have one ticket to give away to Social Media Down Under next Wednesday 13 June, with a great line-up of speakers at Sydney’s Maritime Museum in Darling Harbour. And if you’re not lucky enough to win, you can get $50 off your ticket by using the discount code ADDICTS when you book online.

To be in with a chance of winning, simply comment below, telling me why you’d make the best of this opportunity.

Entries close at 5pm this Friday 8 June and the winner will be announced the following day. Good luck!

I am starting an Interior design blog and would absolutely love any advice regarding social media. I would love to make a statement and get my name out there for career opportunities and would love the advice from the great line up of speakers!

InteriorsAddict has opened my eyes, my mind and my sole to the interior design industry. Stumbling across your blog only days ago has, in the short time, given me design direction, inspired my design aesthetic and encouraged me to further my skills and education in the industry. Your continuous posts are enough for me to say thank you (twice!) Having the opportunity to learn some of the invaluable social media skills you present would, I believe, establish a solid grounding for a successful design career.

Yiiipeee for design and I can’t wait to hear you speak in Melbourne in July!

I found your website through a tweet about cremorne Point (not surprisingly something I tend to look at given my business). I’d love to go to this SMM seminar as I’m stumbling around in the dark trying to work out what works.

Hi Claude. I think we have corresponded before in my role as editor of Dynamic Business magazine! I live not far from you in Hodgson Avenue and my dad once stayed at your BnB on a visit from the UK 🙂

My day to day role revolves around social media and the many different platforms that can be used. I would love this opportunity to go along to this conference to learn even more about the wonderful world of social media. PS Love your blog – I am about to move into my new place and i come on here every day for inspiration.

I manage an independent bookstore and am verging on a terrifying twitter addiction. Some of my customers that I have met through twitter have become close friends and the people I have not yet met still make me feel like I am part of a thriving community. Through our bricks and mortar store we place a strong emphasis on excellent quality customer service and through my twitter interaction with customers, authors and publishers I want to learn how to build on our brand . Ultimately I hope my social media skills can lead me to my one true purpose in life, meeting George Clooney!

You win! Please email me via the contact page on the blog! Jen

I’m a late bloomer in all things social media, but I refuse to be left behind or say its all too difficult!  Whilst I might have my L plates on, I’m know that winning these tickers would be like attending an advanced driving course. And at the speed that social media operates, who knows if the next stop could be Grand Prix! pS I also want to see how successful a photography business can be through the influence of social media.
