Greg Natale at Zanui.com.au launch

It was great to catch up with Australian interior designer of the year Greg Natale, who was guest of honour at a Zanui media event today.

The Australian online homewares and furniture destination has grown to 130 staff since launching in October. And while Greg says he was at first nervous about aligning himself with the new venture, when he saw the kind of products stocked, he was happy to.

Co-founder and managing director Dean Kelly says Zanui is filling a gap in the Australian homewares space, and with everything currently offered with free shipping, it is making it easy for anyone, whether they’re in metro Sydney, Broome or Thursday Island, to create a home with personality and style. A team of content writers make sure the product descriptions are just right and the buyers are led by buying manager Tina Rigoli, ex Freedom, Sheridan, Country Road and Taste.

I have to admit, they have a large collection. I absolutely love the Tropica Goat Hair Stool, it is adorable. Reminds me of when I lived in an hacienda in south america and we had a stool like that which they.

It is a shame that there are heaps of bad reviews about Zanui at the moment. They seemed like a really great idea at the start, but the low standards in customer service and inability to keep their delivery time frame promise has really worked to their demise.
I have ordered from a couple of times. no complaints initially, until a 7 day delivery turned into a 6 week (and still waiting) wait time.

I hope they can pick up their game and redeem themselves.

So disappointed that I never recieved the Zanui products I ordered and that they ignored my email regarding the delivery. Terrible customer service and delivery system really letting their business. Their products and website looked great but I never got to see the products in the flesh as they were not able to deliver at an appropriate time and the only resolution they could provide was a refund.

Hopeless delivery service unfortunately. Still waiting for my products . Their website says 4-5 business days, it’s been 8. I’ve been checking with them and the transport company they use (Neway) seems to be equally as hopeless. No more orders from me with them and anyone else who uses Neway. Pity, because my clients like to spend spend spend ! Never mind , lots more companies with better service out there.
