Etsy is hosting a special summit on 2 June as part of Vivid Sydney 2012. Etsy Success Sydney will inspire, inform and connect local creative entrepreneurs who wish to learn new skills, understand the need for change in the new economy, and make their businesses sustainable and viable.

Etsy CEO Chad Dickerson will outline his personal strategy for innovation in his keynote address, Finding Your Courage, as he makes his first visit to Australia.

Some of Australia’s best and most accomplished creative minds will also share the secrets of their success, with topics ranging from starting a business to team and media management, networking, entrepreneurship and online selling. Speakers include PottyMouthMama blogger Lexi Kentmann, Jo Walker from Frankie magazine, stylist Lara Hutton and Valerie Khoo from Sydney Writers’ Centre.

The day will also feature panel discussions with successful Australian Etsy sellers, as well as a range of workshops in which attendees will hone their business and Etsy-related skills.
