Greg Natale’s new book is pure (patterned) house envy

You could say it’s become his design signature so it makes sense that interior design virtuoso Greg Natale’s latest book is all about pattern. The 256-page tome, The Patterned Interior, illustrates the power of pattern in design by taking readers inside a swathe of stunning homes he’s designed. I for one have serious interiors envy after looking at just a snapshot of them.

“Greg proves himself in this book to be not just a leader in the field in his own country, but to be a world-class tastemaker. His singular style has become admired internationally, inspiring many to be true to themselves, to be more adventurous with pattern, and to live life to the fullest through fun and totally fabulous design. This is undeniably the signature of a master designer, the signature of Greg Natale,” says Martyn Lawrence Bullard (of Million Dollar Decorators’ fame) who wrote the foreword.

The book features 180 colour photographs captured by the celebrated interiors photographer Anson Smart and while the spaces span many countries and myriad styles, they all boast Greg’s singular sophisticated, opulent vision.

There’s a rural Oklahoma property, a surf-inspired penthouse overlooking one of Australia’s most sought-after beaches, a pied-a-terre in New York, a vast country estate in southern Australia and a light-filled apartment in an iconic Sydney building.

It’s no secret Greg is one of our favourites here at Interiors Addict, with our publisher, Jen, having ghost written his first book, The Tailored Interior, with him; something she describes as a career highlight. We can’t wait to get our hands on a copy of this one!
