Sharing my story on news.com.au

I must admit I slightly FREAKED OUT on seeing my mug on the homepage of news.com.au earlier today, but I’m delighted and honoured to be sharing my story with their readers.

news

You can read the article, which is all about how I’m travelling the world with Damian while running my business, here. A big thank you to everyone who has sent me lovely, supportive messages. I hope I can inspire more people to follow their dream. If I can do it…

Hellooooo; I follow you on IG and just finished reading your story! I’m a creative person who only dreams of working creatively and being paid for it. I lost my job in 2008 as a dental assistant (my lifetime career) and have struggled ever since. I am about to turn a very young 61 and feel I have been kicked to the curb definitely. So I’m trying to create my own job doing what I know I’m good at and love.I restyle furniture and started doing it 20 yrs. ago to decorate my own home since I never do anything others are. I’m not an off the rack kinda gal. I have been learning as I go with social media and am so confused how to take the next step. Keeping it simple seems best, however trying to create product to sell on Etsy is time consuming and I’m feeling the pressure of no income. If You could offer on of two words of wisdom for this hard working gal with enthusiasm so spare what should I focus on? Luv to hear from you! Sincerely, Robin McNamara
