Trend alert! Our favourite scalloped finds

Given our collective obsession with arches and circles, the scallop trend is one we should have seen coming. The gently rounded shape is a rather soft, whimsical silhouette that owes more than a passing nod to Art Deco, and we are loving it. From pots to wall decals, bookends and statement chairs, suddenly there’s not a straight line in sight.

Luxo Living Chantal Scallop Velvet Chair: Available in seven covetable colours (including blush, teal and black), this chair brings to mind a pretty shell and it’s finished with flared gold painted metal legs. $299.
