Amity and husband Phil Rankine won the hearts of Australia when they took out first place on Channel 9’s The Block All Stars earlier this year. Amity’s decorating style and eye for design was popular with both the public and the judges and her and Phil won more challenges, rooms and prize money than any other couple on the series. Neale Whitaker praised their Hamptons inspired home and declared that “Phil and Amity are creating the house I want to live in.”

After winning, Amity toured her hit musical Mother, Wife and the Complicated Life  nationally, and then topped off her whirlwind year with a recent trip to New York, when her show was selected for the prestigious New York Musical Theatre Festival. Full of inspiration from both The Block and NYC, Amity is excited to share her design ideas and inspiration with one of Adelaide’s most well known design teams, Cain & Markus.

“I love their style and creativity and can’t wait to work with them. With the passion we both share for gorgeous living spaces and the energy we put into the projects we take on, we are going to be an amazing team,” said Amity. “Working with Louis Bond is another fantastic highlight in what has been a very exciting year.”

Cain Rumbelow & Markus Hamence, the boys behind Tempest Hair, LB Events, My friend Louis, LB High Tea and furniture store Louis Bond, are excited for their adventure with a third interior stylist and decorator, a path they have never explored. “We have held off collaborating until the right person came along, and, for us, Amity Dry was definitely our leading lady! For us, Amity’s style contrasts and compliments our own and we know she has a solid grasp of what it takes to make a house a home. We are super excited.”
