A calming antidote to the fast-fashion approach to interiors, the new cushion collection from Queensland design studio These Walls has bold yet timeless appeal.
“Our products and collections are designed to last. Each design and colourway is made to be around for a while in protest against seasonal throwaways,” says These Walls designer Sarah Hingle.
The Australian-made cushion collection combines hand-painted designs in a colour palette of mustard, navy, black, sea foam and cerulean blue.
“The designs are inspired by the extremes of the ocean and the desert and feature bold and textured line work,” says Sarah.
Linen, exposed brass zippers, rust-coloured buttons and a touch of velvet work to give the range an heirloom quality – the small-batch runs ensure this too.
