The Decoration + Design Melbourne trade fair is fast approaching and I have some tickets to give away to the international industry seminar series. Would you like to hear Melbourne interior designer Chelsea Hing speak? Or maybe American designer Lori Weitzner?
Chelsea will tall about designing from the heart, keeping it personal and bringing her rule-bending approach to crafting beautiful spaces packed with personality. She’ll share insights into her work, her business journey and the lessons she’s learnt along the way.
Internationally renowned Lori will explore the collaborative process of developing a handmade product for the modern world. In our fast-paced, technology-dependent society, the challenge facing contemporary designers is how to work with artisans to preserve ancient traditions and techniques while creating something truly innovative, appealing, and relevant to today’s mark.

Currently setting up my own business, I would love to get an insight into Chelsea’s experiences in this business.

All the seminars sounds amazing and would love to make it to them all, though if I had to pick one I’d pick Chelsea. Her approach to designing is so natural and inspiring. To take away a pinch of Chelsea’s knowledge is a bonus for any designer. Yes please!

I’ve really been enjoying this years trade shows and am counting down to D+D later this month. I’ve also been noticing a lot of press about Chelsea and think her seminar would be really inspiring… which is what these shows are all about.
I would love to hear Chelsea speak! I’ve been stalking her work ever since I saw her Melbourne home tour…..Not very familiar with Lori’s work but would definitely be very interested to hear her speak too.
Would love to hear Chelsea’s insights about creating her own business, following your heart and interior design in Melbourne. The international industry seminar series is a great opportunity for small interior design firms (like make interior design) to gain valuable insight into how take risks, stay focused and be innovative.

Both seminars promise to be inspiring. Chelsea is a designer I admire and I’d absolutely love to hear Lori Weiztner speak as I am a fan of her wallpapers. My background is handmade wallpapers and fabrics so her seminar topic is close to my heart and I’d love to hear her perspective.

Would LOVE to hear Chelsea Hing. Chelsea’s approach to design and interiors really sings to me. My work involves creating colorful textiles for people who love a bit of soul and integrity in the spaces in which they live, with a healthy dose of cheer and vibrancy.

These two women are truly inspirational, not only to the design world but to women in general. However I’d love to see Chelsea Hing speak of her knowledge and experiences. Im a 19 year old interior design graduate from sydney with a vision! I believe and agree with Chelsea Hing’s design principles, I find her words and designs a work of art which has influence my way of thinking when it comes to the design of a room. I believe seeing Chelsea Hing speak will give me the boost of knowledge I need to get myself out there in the industry and stand on my own two feet as a designer. My fingers are crossed!
