Zakkia’s new range of ceramics and stoneware is gorgeous

Created by Swede-turned Sydneysider Sara Lundgren, we love Zakkia‘s homewares and their Scandinavia meets Bondi vibe. The 2016 collection marks the brand’s first foray into handmade bowls, oversized mugs, spoons and containers and the ceramics and stoneware are pretty gorgeous.

The colour palette of grey, lavender and pink is paired with black and white for a chic, contemporary feel.  “We have also introduced a seagrass tone that reminds us of the ocean,” says Sara, who designed the current range on a trip home to Sweden.

Other collection highlights are the fabulous new range of multi-purpose travel accessories (which we’ll be using at our desks!) and a collaboration with Adelaide illustrator Emma Kate Co. “Her hand lettering features on the new range of candles that were created to celebrate our favourite moments of the day from waking up in the morning to falling asleep each night,” says Sara.
