Good, affordable lighting can be hard to come across in this country. If you want to buy online, even harder. I’ve heard Bunnings have some cool stuff going on at the moment, which I must check out, and I’ve been pretty impressed with Beacon too, having seen a lot of their stuff on The Block. What do you think of their latest limited edition Stockholm range, which is only available online? It’s all made from natural timber.
These natural wood pendants are $795.
I love this pendant, which is $595 or $795, depending on the size. As seen in the twins’ ensuite bathroom on The Block recently.

The stockholm light is a copy of M_cocoon light designed by Gael Wuithier for Woodlabo.
I did ask if anything was replica and was told not. I will look into this. I’ll admit I don’t have a great knowledge of lighting design!
I approached Beacon for a comment and appears they were unaware (I had asked in advance if they were replica). Here is their response: “We were unaware of the original design and will follow this up with our supplier. Apologies for any confusion.”
