New Aussie site launch: In A Designer Home

I’m often bemoaning the state of eCommerce in Australia, especially when it comes to homewares, but all sorts of great Aussie sites have been launching recently. One of the latest is In a Designer Home, which brings together some of my favourite brands to one online store. There’s a real emphasis on Australian designers too, which is great to see.

From Armadillo & Co rugs to Dinosaur Designs tableware and vases to Norman + Quaine furniture, Idh has collated a really great range which promises to be ever evolving. Idh would rather see people spend a little more on original Australian pieces which will be passed down through a family, rather than cheaper, replica imports.

Based in Sydney’s Surry Hills, director Jamee Huntington says: “We are supporting the Australian design community that has so much to offer. We noticed a gap in the market and saw the opportunity to support innovative designers through online retail. The Idh team has a strong interior design background so Idh was born from the constant need to supply clients with beautiful and unique products.

“Our aim is to sell quality products that will travel through time with you and be passed on to future generations. With new products and designers always jumping on board, we are constantly recreating and reinventing the way we showcase design. Not only do we offer unique products, we also strive to excel in great customer service, leaving our consumers with an enjoyable shopping experience.”
