The intriguingly named Max Sparrow is a new independent company started by some seasoned furniture lovers to cater to time-poor, tech-savvy, 20, 30, and 40-somethings looking for something different and tired of what’s currently being offered in Australia. The catch is you have to wait 2-to-3 months for great pieces at great prices.
The brand clearly has a sense of humour. The website is full of it and written in the first person by ‘Max’. A spokesman told me: “Max knows and loves furniture, he’s spent his life travelling the world searching for it. He knows that everyone uses the internet for everything these days and that traditional retail models mean that products are more expensive than they should be. Wow thx for the info, Max Saprrow looks so fresh and exciting. Prepared to wait if the quality is good. Even if I order from a store in Sydney I have had to wait up to 3 months for some special pieces so really its no different.

I’m thinking of purchasing but more than a little apprehensive purchasing a lounge/chairs I haven’t tried out.
I suppose what they’re selling is unique. It’s the Caracole range. It only became unique to Coco in Australia when they decided to retail those products for less than other Australian businesses could buy them wholesale.
After reading your comments I decided to purchase a sofa and an arm chair from Max Sparrow. It was delivered several days ago after 11 weeks of waiting. The delivery time did not bother me, I don’t mind waiting for the right piece of furniture that I will hopefully enjoy for many years to come. The service we received was outstanding. Any questions were answered within minutes. But the best of all are the products. Comfortable, stylish and of high quality. They definitely exceeded my expectations considering the very reasonable price. So my advise: if you find something that you like don’t hesitate to buy it. Quality, service and price are fantastic !
