When moisturiser looks this good, it encourages you to use it!

Sponsored by Palmolive

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, I won’t apologise for picking many of my bathroom and beauty products based on their packaging! Some (my husband) would call it me being anally retentive, but as well as having a genuine enthusiasm for great packaging design, if it doesn’t look good, I’m not leaving it out. Simple! Garish products have no place in my home, and luckily there are a lot of great options out there!

Palmolive Oil Infusions is making its debut into the Australian moisturiser market today with its brand new body moisturisers and washes. The luxurious range is aimed at women who love to treat themselves with speciality skin care but often find it too expensive for everyday use. And it’s true that finding a body moisturiser that ticks all the boxes (hydrating yet non-greasy, affordable, great smelling and last but not least, in good looking packaging!) can be tough. The Oil Infusions Body Moisturisers (from RRP $5.99) are inspired by the growing essential oils trend and enriched with an infusion of essential oils and botanical extracts including avocado oil, jojoba oil, jasmine extract, macadamia oil, rose oils and citrus oils.

Without further ado, let’s look at the packaging. Does it pass the Interiors Addict bedside/bathroom test? The apothecary style brown pump bottle looks classy, expensive and almost rustic. It’s neutral enough to blend into your interior while still looking lovely, and leaving it out means you’re much more likely to actually use it than if you hid it away in a cabinet. I’ll admit I’m terrible at remembering to body moisturise. When it comes to moisturising my face and applying sunscreen, I’m religious about it, but from the neck down, I’m a little neglectful, despite the best intentions!

This one’s now staying firmly on my bedside so I can moisturise before bed. It feels like a little aromatherapy ritual and that’s something I could commit to every night, right?

My other top tip for remembering is to keep a moisturiser close at hand on your desk, so you can at the very least use it on your arms and hands. Love a little multi-tasking moment, hydrating while tackling the old writer’s block!

Palmolive are inviting you to create your own #MoisturiserMoment. Use the hashtag to share via social media how you take a moment to give back to your body and mind with the new Palmolive Oil Infusions range. Available at Coles, Priceline pharmacies and independent supermarkets
