The Rug Collection collaborates with Pony Rider & Rebecca Judd

Collaborating with street artist Bradley Eastman (Beastman), lifestyle blogger Rebecca Judd, artist Katie McKinnon, homewares brand Pony Rider and textile studio Home-Work, The Rug Collection have created a limited edition collection, entitled Art Series.

The 10-piece range features two rugs by each designer, reflecting their individual style and creative vision. And with only 50 rugs per design (each will be marked 1/50 much like artworks), they are sure to become coveted collector’s items.

A standout in the collection is Pony Rider’s circular Mexican Traveller rug, which derived from their Summer season, is inspired by the colours and simple graphics found on a truck in a village in Mexico.

Home Work - Dynasty (insitu) 05

Also worthy of note is Katie McKinnon’s vibrant Moonlighter and Coral rug, which takes inspiration from the shy and retiring Moonlighter, a fish that lives under shallow coastal reef ledges. And Home-Work’s Dynasty rug, which was inspired by their bedding print of the same name.

Rebecca Judd’s Gelato is a pretty, textural, pastel creation.
