Jardan’s flagship store is more like a home than a showroom

After the success of their two retail stores in Sydney and Brisbane, furniture company Jardan have opened a flagship in their hometown of Melbourne. Located on Church Street Richmond, the two-level, 800 square metre store is in the heart of the city’s furniture and interiors precinct.

More like a contemporary home than a showroom, the space is divided into an open plan kitchen, library, indoor courtyard and a fun and colourful kids’ space. The perfect environment to showcase their evolvement beyond furniture, the store showcases Jardan’s most covetable classics, introduces their new collection and launches a curated collection of homewares from local and international artisans.

The 2014/15 collection designed by Jardan Lab, made its debut in-store. The collection features timber furniture finished with natural oil, that has a beautiful tactile feel, alongside oversized modular sofas and refined armchairs. The Jardan lighting range is extended with new brass pendants, glass pendants and turned timber lamps, all designed and made in Melbourne.

You’ll also find their new homewares range, featuring bed linen, locally made ceramics, Italian cookware and cutlery, handmade cushions and blankets from Argentina, jewellery, Australian-made surfboards and a collection of art, photography and illustrations.
