Win tickets to a talk by Coco Republic’s senior interior designer Natasha Levak

Natasha Levak is the latest expert to run a design session at Coco Republic Design School in Sydney and two lucky Interiors Addict readers can win tickets.

Natasha will share professional insight and experience as an in-demand interior designer whose work has featured on the cover of Australian House & Garden and in the pages of Belle. With extensive experience in both residential and commercial interiors, she’ll explain what it takes to break down an interior design brief – from initial interpretation, to concept communication and executing the finished project.

A graduate of UNSW and former assistant stylist at Belle magazine, her six years as senior designer at Coco Republic Interior Design have allowed her to hone in her luxurious yet casual style and become a specialist in large scale interior design.

“I aim to develop spaces that evoke a mood,” says Natasha, “Great interior design is about details; how materials meet both in conflict and harmony.”

Coco Republic Design School Design Sessions are 2-hour intensive workshops hosted by the most dynamic interior designers and stylists in the industry. Held twice monthly and costing $95, each session offers an intimate workshop environment for design enthusiasts to network and learn practical skills.

To be in with a chance of winning one of two tickets to the sessions on either 13 or 16 November, simply comment below why you would like to attend by midnight on Wednesday 17 October.

I am about to finish my interior design degree (in 5 weeks!) and am still unsure which direction I would like to take in the industry. Attending a talk like this I feel will help my understanding of certain aspects of the design industry and be extremely beneficial to me. Not to mention my complete adoration of the Coco Republic style…

Having literally just finished a complete painting overhaul of my home interior, I would love to learn the tricks used to then create amazing spaces within my freshly painted rooms. Plus a couple of days off work and in Sydney would be nice.

Would love to attend this session as i’m working my way to be a full time magazine stylist and have assisted on many shoots over the past couple of years, and have recently gone freelance. Would love as much insight as possible from a wide spectrum of stylists to help me develop my own style as well as seeing how others did it. Have loved all previous Coco Republic design sessions I have attended so I’m sure this would be no different!

Oh what an opportunity. I am incredibly keen to get started in the world of interior design. I have been dreaming of fulfilling my passion of interior design for a long time. I’m currently a mum of 3, and have not had a real job in the big person world for 10 years now, with one more year before my last child starts school I want to start to study and I’m excited about getting lost in all the amazing aspects of this industry.

Living in western NSW, there are very few designers (in fact, there aren’t any!) at hand and whilst I’m studying an online interior decorating course, to be in a room with REAL designers would be a fantastic opportunity to learn from the best in the business and meet other inspiring designers!

Nothing is impossible… The word itself sayes ‘I’m possible’. This would be a brilliant opportunity to help takes me to the next level. Im an Interior Design student, crunching numbers for a bank during the day and dreaming of design at night. Please consider me with this incrediable opportunity to make my design dreams possible.

I’m off to see Greg Natale next week at Coco Republic, as he is my ultimate interior designer crush. I would love to see the contrast and similarities between Greg and Natasha. I am studing at the TAFE Design College and I find the learnings informative but I crave the insights and creativity of the people who have created a path in this area. I just want to absorb all their knowledge and put it into practice.
If I win, I will take notes and write a blog about the experience. I’ll even tweet, fb and instagram too.

Oh you’ll love Greg’s talk, Therese! I went to the last one, it was fantastic. Jen

Each time someone speak about design , interiors, colours, window furnishing, my heart beat so fast and I get butterflies in my stomach as if I am in love… Actually I am in love… with Interior Design 🙂
I have been hesitant for years about doing an interior design course but here we go doing a diploma and hopefully more after that. I love to hear success stories about designers who followed their heart, passion and dreams and worked hard to be where they are now.( motivates me a bit more and makes me more confident that i will succeed too just in time)

BTW Jen , love your website, got a casual job a colour consultant from your career section not long ago and making some cash + have work experience 🙂
All the best,
Tatiana x

Being an avid reader of Belle magazine and a complete fan of Coco Republic, I actually think this course was designed for me. I would relish the opportunity to attend and meet Natasha Levak.

Im a design nut that needs that little bit of something to give me the confidence to quit my job, push me over the edge and pursue my dream. Colours to creations – furnishings to freedom, help turn my dreams into reality. Im drowning in magazine cut outs and mood boards. Please help turn my dreams into reality.

I am design crazy, have studied the last few years and now lucky to be working for an amazing designer…any experience, workshops that I can do…would be awesome!
also renovating my own place – looking for great inspirations from talent like Natasha.
I have loved previous workshops with Sibella and Shannon…
Love Coco and love love Belle Mag.

As a recent interior styling graduate attempting to change careers and ‘break into’ the interiors industry, I’d love to attend one of Natasha’s workshops. The opportunity to gain some insight into how an experienced stylist actually tackles a project and works through the process from start to finish would be much invaluable!

I have big ideas but a budget for the basics. I’d love to learn how to deliver large scale and luxury from a master and mentor like Natasha

Hmmm the big question right now is… what am I going to do when I grow up? I am 32 years old and still am unsure, but I am sure that I want my future to entail lost of colour, trends and helping people take a concept off paper and make it a reality… I have worked in marketing for the past 10 years and have a creative flair I love to explore. I have recently changed industries and have found myself in the interior design arena and LOVING IT! So workshopping with Natasha would help me grasp the fundamentals of design before venturing into further study for a possible career change. Have a great day! 🙂

I made one of those crazy/brave/fun/scary moves out of the daily grind to study colour design and start up my business which I am about to launch. I loved design study and am at the beginning of a very exciting journey! I want to eagerly soak up Natasha’s insights and apply them within my own profession….pick meeeeee!!!!!

I’d so value this prize! I’m just putting the final touches to a Decor, Antiques, and Art tour to Vietnam -Having Natasha’s insight and experience would assist not only me, but the whole small group (12).. so like a pebble in a pond,.. this prize will keep on blessing.. Thanks Jean

Oh wow. I would LOVE to do this. I have a home that needs help. It’a almost there but I don’t know how to pull it all together and put on the finishing touches to make it luxurious but still casual. I walk into Coco Republic so frequently and love everything but don’t know how to put it in and style it the right way in my home, while making sure it has my own stamp on it. A workshop like this would give me a bit more confidence to trust my style and get it right. Plus, I am trying to resurface back into the world after having too many children in a rather short amount of time and anything that gets me out of the house and puts my brain in a different space is pure HEAVEN. And I plan to career change so I am currently working out what direction that would be. It needs to be creative and if I can gain a little confidence in interiors, it might be the right direction.

3 years ago I moved to Australia from North Europe, where I have been studying architecture. Now I do The Interior Design online course in Sydney refreshing my knowledge. Always I have tried to keep hand on pulse and opportunity like this evokes me daring and inspiring. I am happy to seek out ways to improve knowledge in interior design field and it would be great honour for me if I am selected for this practise. The workshop with Natasha could be my first touch with real design network at this land side.
Have a good design!
Inga

I would absolutely love the opportunity to be a guest of Natasha Levak at her 2 hour workshop. Like many others who would also enjoy this prize, my passion and interest in design is something that has been slowly growing over many years. Lately, I have found that every afternoon I get home from work and open Interiors Addict to see what has been put up that day. Looking at design blogs and websites has become a part of my daily routine and I cant live without it! I would love to gain more experience in interior designs, especially things that I can do at home. Having that knowledge from professionals is something I really enjoy especially forming my own sense of interior style. Launching into many design projects is something Im constantly striving to do. Having Natasha’s ideas and plans as a scaffold would be excellent in planning and executing my own design projects. I would love this opportunity!! Elyse ; )

I am about to move into my apartment that was bought off the plan, so i have a totally blank canvas from which to create my dream home! I would love to attend the course and get some great tips on how to pull my ideas together and create a perfect home to relax and entertain family and friends.

Interior design is a major passion of mine and I would love to have the time and money to invest in it but it’s a bit hard at the moment working fulltime and being a mum to 2 young kids. We will be shortly embarking on building a new home and I want to arm myself with some interior design knowledge before we start! Coco Republic is my ultimate interior design school and to be able to attend a workshop would be wonderful!

I will be moving home soon, and needing tips on how to redecorate a federation home in a modern style. This class with Natasha Levak would be a massive help in my monumental task!

Starting a new life in a new apartment in December. Have been working nonstop for two years without a holiday. Would love to take my bestie to Sydney for a break and a design session. Seriously. This would mean a lot. Thanks. <3

I’m interested to learn about Natasha. I know nothing about her. She must be someone which great talents. The only thing common between her and me would be the love for all things interior. I would love to be in her shoes.
