Yes, it’s that time again! Already! 7 Vignettes October starts one week today and, thanks to Paint Place, you could win $180 of New Look paint and a brush and roller kit.

Each year, Paint Place develops and releases a series of trend forecast colours and themes specifically developed for the Australian consumer market. Paint Place prides itself on offering “painting made easy,” with advice on all the right colours, paints and products to get the job done. This year, they commissioned trend forecaster Lucy Sutherland and Melbourne stylist Deb McLean (of Doswell & McLean) to work collaboratively on the colours and themes, creating a series of images to illustrate each of them, like Sugary Sweet, above.
The 2013/14 trend themes are: Vitality, Sugary Sweet, Ombre (below) and Scandi‐Modern. Each theme is accompanied by 5 trend colours made up of accents and neutrals as well as a series of images illustrating how the they can be easily incorporated into your homes, whether it’s repainting and styling a whole room or simply creating a small styled corner or vignette (and we all love a vignette!).
