I once thought I was a princess as I sat on my Noona’s Brentwood chair. Then my childhood aspirations changed and I became a school teacher sitting on Noona’s Brentwood addressing my imaginary class. Now I am a school teacher and hope that this Christmas my Noona gets to sit on one of my Brentwood chairs, wouldn’t that be AMAZING! Thanks for the opportunity to enter this brilliant comp Jen, RelaxHouse & The Brown Trading Co.

Wow! Wow! I would love the four white Bentwoods ( my all time favourite chairs) to replace the chairs we still have from when we first moved into our first house over 18 years ago! They are primed, well some are, and have yet to be finished. Our current chairs are so tall through the bad it takes up so much visual space from our country kitchen. I’d pick any of the blue and white range from the table as the patterns are perfect!
Ness xx

The choices, The choices…. For me, nothing beats crisp, fresh white so my choice of Brentwood would have to be an original white. Whilst sticking with the GORGEOUS Christmas theme the Morocco Collection Marrakech in Emerald 45 would be the perfect addition to my Chrissy table setting. Not to mention both colour palettes would tie in perfectly with Noona’s original Mahogany stained Brentwood. LUSH!

What a fantastic competition, i would stay classic & choose the black bentwood cafe chairs with a gold trellis table cloth from the glamorous collection. My husband & I renovating an old Edwardian house, some new chairs &’a table cloth would really make our day ! X

Hi Jen

Thanks for the opportunity to comment.

Absolutely love the idea of the black bentwood chair with the exposed timber ‘feet’; the silver confetti table cloth as a runner and the Asha Navy Napkins.

would work so well with my beech table linking to the feet and the black of the chairs is a great contrast, as is the blue of the napkins. theres a none to obvious link between the circles on the table cloth and the napkins. the white is just a nice simple background to tie all the other decorations we can expect on christmas day.

Shaun

Post reno ready to decorate and style our new kitchen! Indian summer linen sounds like the perfect addition to our home. Bentwood chairs in mixed colours for a pop of fun. Bring on Summer in Sydney!

Hello! Thanks for the chance to win some of these truly beautiful chairs and table linen pieces! Having recently moved into our own home, I’d LOVE either the light grey or white chairs and the silver confetti & silver trellis table linen! They’d look gorgeous around our family table and I’d admire them every single day! I’m crossing my fingers for an early (and totally indulgent!) Christmas present!! Laura

Hi Jen,
Oh my gosh I SO need this in my life! I officially moved out with my partner coming on 11 months ago and we STILL don’t have a dining table or chairs. We tend to enjoy our dinners via the carpet and coffee table, because, romance!!

I’m loving the white & wood mix chairs, they have a bit of a Danish look. and the silver confetti tablecloth & napkins are perfection.

What an amazing prize, run by two truly inspiring ladies!
To win this prize would be an absolute dream, I have always wanted a welcoming dining space to entertain, relax and enjoy time together. Decorating and updating are a little out of reach at present, and this prize would truly make our family christmas! Good luck to everyone πŸ™‚ xx

As for colour choices, I’m not at all fussy, it’s all so gorgeous I truly couldn’t choose a favourite!

Hyperventilating over this one! I’d pick four classic black bentwoods. Asha Kelly Green Napkins and a Zahra Navy Table Cloth. Blue and green should always be seen!

Oh the combo choices!
I live on Sydney’s Northern Beaches & my home has a relaxed, rustic tropical vibe with lots of white, different tones of wood and lots of plants. Think beach, birds of paradise and natural fibres with bursts of burnt orange, tropical green with a white and cream main palate.
To continue with this theme but to make it a little more festive, I would choose the Original White Bentwood Chair w Natural Socks to pair with my heavy plank wood dining table (which sits next to floor to ceiling windows fitted w white shutters) – would look so fresh! My current chairs are in need of some DIY love, so new chairs before Xmas would be a blessing! I would pair the dining set with Indian Summer Zahra Orange draped over half of the table. For some zing and thinking birds of paradise which are in my garden (so would place in a tall vase on the table), I would choose Morocco MARRAKECH EMERALD napkins for a casual mis-matched look. Wood, white with splashes of orange & green = the perfect Manly Christmas theme! Served with pomegratete and mint mojitos πŸ™‚
Jaala x

What a fabulous giveaway.
I would choose the white bentwood with natural socks, pink and gold check tablecloth with pink bow napkins.
Sharnel

Oh my goodness I’m actually having trouble thinking straight because I’m so excited about this competition, I have Relax House in my favourites and regularly visit the site and drool over their wares. I have always wanted a bentwood chair and to win would be a dream, I would probably choose white and a mix match of colourful napkins to brighten my table setting. This year I’m hosting my extended family on the 21st December to celebrate my Mothers 84th birthday and to win this competition and spruce up my dining room for the occasion would be a dream come true, xToni

Absolutely ADORE the grey Bentwoods, and they’ll fit perfectly with my scheme – I’m going chic all the way this year! Silver Confetti tablecloth, coupled with Silver Trellis napkins will bring in a sophisticated base for the table. Five short white candles in my second-hand shop find crystal holders, will make my crystal glasses sparkle. My centrepiece is a silver vase (gifted by my beloved grandmother) filled with creamy white peonies. I’ll be using my mum’s cutlery – it’s ‘everyday silver’, not expensive but precious to me – shone to gleaming. And I’ll be able to use my white plate, with grey scroll trim and silver edging to pull the whole thing together!

Some of my earliest and warmest memories are of sharing dinner with my parents’ oldest friends in their home, which to my eyes was the most beautiful, interesting and wondrous place in the world. We sat amongst small and ancient Chinese figurines, were gazed upon by woodblock prints from local artists, and walked over worn Kilims that had seen better days but had a long story underfoot. Around the table we sat on bentwood chairs for hours, and I traced the curve of each bow and bend and asked every time how it was possible. Those chairs loom large in my memories of childhood.

A set of walnut No 18 bentwood chairs with glittering, glamorous gold trellis table linen is more my style today – classic, casually elegant and comfortable pieces in natural materials that respect workmanship and heritage, topped off with a bit of fun and razzle dazzle!

This would totally make my Christmas! I would love all chairs to be different colours – love the mismatched style! But yellow and navy would be definite picks! Our new kitten has decided to use our leather dining chairs as scratch posts and they are needing replacing, these Brentwood would be ideal! Anyway thanks for letting is enter the comp – good luck to everyone!

My choice for settings would be Dark grey Thonet chairs, Silver trellis tablecloth with Silver confetti Napkins. A classic setting, great for Christmas which would then allow for further mix and match options in the future. I am no more deserving than any other entrant, it’s just that I’m smitten by an addiction to chairs and to own original Thonet’s would be awesome. Thanks for the fun. πŸ™‚

OMGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG!!!! This would be the most ah-mazing Christmas present. I am 22 and my partner and myself just built our very first home (we get the keys just before Christmas). We have a rustic eclectic style and I can just image four different colour chairs line up next to a big old rustic wooden door with trestle legs and clash of print from the table runner and napkins. For the chairs we would love the Lemon Yellow Vienna, Green Apple, Light Grey and Aqua Blue, the Rommani Yellow Table cloth from the Morocco range and the Asha Orange napkins from the Indian Summer Range.

We have our old wooden door, but still are searching for some amazing chairs.. we obviously just found them!

ohhhhhh I must say I’m loving the grey bentwood chairs, they are lovely and subtle, I would do the silver confetti table cloth and for napkins I love the pink and gold check from the glamorous range they are so sweet. Thanks for the competition its been great fun x

Eueopean Made Original Red A18 Bentwood Chair with the SILVER CONFETT tablecloth and the Zahra Red napkins would add a gorgeous splash of colour to my dining room. With six kids I very rarely get to have something new for myself, it’s little things like new chairs even as small as new napkins that make a big difference to my house. Itr’s something just for me

We are moving into our first home just before Christmas, (at the ripe old age of 41!) I would love the chance to win his amazing prize ! As soon as i saw the Walnut Vienna No.18 Bentwood Chair i was in love. I love the Gold Trellis napkins and Table cloth would look divine in our new little cottage and add a sophisticated edge. Thank you so much .

I would love to replace my tired retro velvet dining chairs with the white bentwood chairs with natural socks, Kentana red table cloth & Zahra Kelly green napkins to create the ultimate chic, crisp, summer (with cheeky hint of the natural socks) Christmas feasting setting.

I’d love a mix of colours in the chairs (and the accessories). I am hopefully re-doing the colour scheme in my kitchen soon, so a mix of colours makes the most sense (plus it’s fun). My current chairs have to be re-screwed every week as they regularly fall apart! Many a close call at the dinner table has been had! I’ll keep my fingers crossed. xxx

My dream table setting would be 4 of the Black Thonet Designed Vienna 18 Bentwood Chair w Natural Socks paired with the Gold Trellis tablecloth and Gold Confetti Napkins. What a gorgeous Christmas present that would be for our whole family. We are having Christmas at our place this year and it will be very special as it is our baby’s first and her dear Nonna is battling Bowel Cancer and recently moved in with us. Been a big year! Love your instagrams Jen. Merry Xmas! πŸ™‚

We’ve had a year filled with illness and drama,
And I have a feeling it’s about time for some good karma,
We’ll move into a new house in the new year,
And these delightful interiors would certainly give me a reason to cheer,
My choice would be 2 of Relaxhouse’s Vienna coloured Bentwood,
Combined with 2 Original White’s I think it would set the right mood,
Throw in The Brown Trading Co’s napkins in Hot Pink Marrakeh,
I think this combination is starting to sound absolutely delish,
I’d add The Glamorous Silver Trellis table cloth to finish things,
What a table, I have fingers crossed for the joy that these gifts would bring.

Oh My Gosh, OK… Just breathe Hayley! What a fabulous giveaway!
I admit it, I am a tad scared of colour, my entire home is neutrals and blues. The thought of adding a statement pop of colour is quite exhilarating. I have a chairless table sitting all lonely and boring in my living space right now, I can here her screaming out for some attention. What would be more perfect than 4 pink Bentwood chairs, a Zahra navy table cloth and some Asha Pink napkins. Oh, wouldn’t that demand some serious attention!
I don’t think I deserve this any more than anyone else, My life isn’t perfect and I could write you a sob story, but I’d rather just invite you both to high tea at my house when my goodies arrive …. Does bribery work, hehehe!

Good morning,

I recently just purchased my very first home & have been renovating the last 6 weeks. I have been looking everywhere for some old bentwood chairs to spruce up & saw your competition. The Black Bentwood with natural socks would fit perfectly in my new dining room, the Rommani indigo tablecloth would compliment the Moroccan tiles & with a splash of Christmas colour including the Zahra Red napkins! All of the choices are gorgeous!
Thank you & Merry Christmas.

Julia x

What a generous festive competition!! Ok, so choices, so tricky!! I’d have to go classic, I’d choose the walnut Thonet Bentwoods and as for the tablecloth, I’ve already ordered a red cloth and napkins from Keren so if I was to win I’d go the Glamorous line and choose the gold dot tablecloth and the gold trellis napkins. As for why I should win, we have just renovated our hundred year old house and have moved in three days ago, with my lovely inlaws arriving from England next week! And I have two boys under three and a half! If you can picture a neat freak Mum desperately trying to unpack and make my dream home look beautiful whilst having two boys spread the contents of each box everywhere, you get the idea. As I’m hosting Christmas and a celebration for my amazing husband’s 40th, the chairs and tablecloth would be oh so useful! Sounding desperate?! I am!

it’s the dark grey bentwood, with the glamorous silver trellis and the marrakesh yellow…..nothing says summer than a touch of yellow with a classic bentwood!!
Pick me…Pick me!!

I’d love to win the bentwood chairs, my style is quite eclectic, so I’d go with four different colours – lemon yellow, aqua blue, light grey, and apple green , and I would match them with the Asha Kelly Green napkins, and the Romani yellow tablecloth – so colourful and bright, just walking into the dining room would make me happy!

I can picture myself sitting on a Light Grey Original Bentwood Chair with Silver Trellis Napkins on Zahra Red Tablecloth. Perfect for Christmas or even a romantic dinner with hubby for no other reason than love.

What an amazing comp, a replica can never have the soul of an original! I’d love the plain white ones! At the moment my very talented boyfriend is planning to build me a beautiful kitchen table with reclaimed and recycled wood, these chairs would be the perfect accompaniment to it. The Asha pink napkins and Asha Kelly green would be beautiful in any place but would certainly compliment my colourful and at times quirky style. All my fingers and toes are crossed πŸ™‚ Thanks for such a fabulous opportunity!

This is crazy! A couple of weeks ago my husband found my dream table for a bargain on Ebay , its gorgeous! with worn black curvy legs on castors and a round weathered Tasmanian oak top, its pretty exciting after having a terrible table for the last seven years! AND the Bentwood is the dream chair to replace my terrible chairs!
Black Bentwoods would be divine! I have a tropical glam table setting in mind for Christmas, gold pineapple centrepieces, fluffy white Gardenias in gold vases ,a flickering of candles and a sprinkling of gold glitter with the Gold Confetti tablecloth and the Pink & Gold check napkins!

I am in the midst of redecorating my 3 children’s bedrooms as they are all growing out of their kiddies rooms so I would love love love to win 2 black and 1 pink bentwood chairs and for me a white bentwood chair for my office desk and the gorgeous gold trellis tablecloth and napkins. Thanks for this great competition.

Black and Gold is such a glamorous combination, so I was immediately drawn to stunning black Bentwood with natural ‘socks’ for a bit of added flair and the dazzling Gold Trellis tablecloth and napkins! I can just picture dinners at our household becoming such glamorous affairs; drawing family and friends to the table to enjoy delicious food, beautiful wine, Great Gatsby inspired music and most importantly the wonderful conversations that seem to be plentiful when so much joy (and good styling!) is present!

Wow, what an amazing prize! Thonet chairs have been my all-time favourite since I was little, and those napkins and table cloth patterns are just beautiful! It is so hard to choose, but for me it would be the A18 Lemon Yellow Vienna Bentwood chairs, the Brown Trading Co Asha Navy table cloth with a colour pop of Asha Pink napkins. Our house is very much in need of some colour, these would fill our house and hearts with happiness every day as we eat breakfast, lunch and dinner. Fingers, toes and legs crossed for this one!!

I would love classic black to support my neutral, classy modern theme I have in my home. These chairs would look great with their simple yet elegant style back and shiny wow jet black colour and matching napkins.
Thank you for such a great prize. Someone is going to have a very merry Xmas this year.

Oooohhh…. the bentwood chairs in white would be perfect for my old 1920s house. Along with the Zahra navy napkins and ketana red table cloth would make for the perfect summer evening with friends. Fingers and toes are crossed – I could really do with a little pre-Christmas pick-me-up πŸ™‚

It’s my turn to host Christmas Day lunch this year and I’m trying to update my dining room and living room before the family comes over. I have a lot of red decor in my home and I’m slowly trying to introduce more colour. I really love the Grey A18 Thonet Vienna Bentwood Chair, Zahra Navy napkins and Zahra Red table cloth.

The coastal feel of the light grey bentwood chairs coupled with my light and airy round table with silver trellis napkins and matching tablecloth will omplete my new look studio.

Loving playing with interiors and living in a sharehouse is hard y’all! So I like to introduce pieces that create, not only prettier spaces, but better experiences. My current project is to get everyone off the couch and to the table for dinner together and a bright, fun setting like this would bring them running! Plus they would look great next to our ever present, Bright Orangey-red Sriracha Chilli sauce! So for Choices – Lets go with the Lemon Yellow Vienna Bentwood Chairs, a light and fun Gold Confetti Tablecloth and the Marrakech Emerald Napkins. Delish! xx

Michael Thonet Designed No 18 Bentwood Chair, a very classic and classy chair that looks modern but also has a little old fashioned style. Teamed up with the Gold Confetti table cloth, and the Gold Trellis napkins, my room woud sparkle with Christmas glamour.

I would love love love the black Bentwood chairs with Beechwood ‘socks’ to go along with the Silver Trellis table cloth and Zahra Kelly Green napkins..my beautful dining table needs a spruce up and these gorgeous items will definitely do a great job!

The sheer thought of upcoming lazy summer days over the Australian summer evokes visions of warm oranges and bright blues surrounded by family, friends, kids and good food…including mandatory waterfight on the backyard lawn. The Zahra Orange tablecloth teamed with Asha navy napkins, surrounded by Vienna 18 black bentwoods with socks will get us on our way!

only 4 chairs – well that is like telling a child to only pick one toy in the target mid-year sale!

seriously what a magical competition – I would have to choose pink, navy, yellow and green ‘relax house’ chairs. bright happy colours that make your head spin, that take you away to a place that is fun and that scream we are a family home that laughs and shares. (funny how colour can make that happen)

what amazing linen (Karen Brown your amazing!) ‘Gold Confetti’ table cloth, with ‘Asha Kelly Green’ and ‘Asha Orange’ table napkins. How beautiful would that look the table set, bright chairs. gold table cloth, green and orange napkins and a big vase of pink and blue hydrangea’s, just add my family and that is perfection!

These are my all time fav chairs! I’d love to win 4 bentwood chairs in black with natural socks. The table setting would have to be a combination of everything. I am such a fan of mismatching table settings but overall I love the blue and white napkins. Why should I win? Well, I am no more deserving than anyone else to tell the truth. It would be a delight to win some thing so grand and special. My rickety old chairs are just about to brake and in fact my father in law sat on one and it fell apart last month. We are currently going through IVF (4rd cycle) which is draining our funds and leaves nothing left for basics let alone luxury.

Hi Jen!

I just signed up to your fantastic blog- what a great morning web-stumble!
I would have to choose the cute bentwood ‘sock’ chairs in black…actually or white (they are too cute!) and pair them with the green Asha Kelly napkins and Ketana orange tablecloth- love!

My husband and I have just started a challenge of eating at the dinner table every night. We are aiming for swap our TV couch dinners for quality conversation while enjoying our cooking. We love to cook, but have forgot the joy of sharing and enjoying our meals. We have been going for 2 weeks strong, but I’m sure a beautiful table would continue to entice!
Thanks for the opportunity & enjoy your day!

Holy moly, my super amazing federation era house is perfect for bentwood chairs – we have amazing pressed tin ceilings, ornate fireplaces and a nic nac shelf – we are currently renovating to give it a slight ‘simple modern’ update but keeping all the original fixtures and fittings possible. We have a big old kitchen, with benches around the walls, oven in the fireplace and the dining table in the middle of the room. We are blessed with dark blue lino in a tile pattern that is truly horrific so anything takes the attention away from the floor is appreciated until we can afford to renovate the kitchen to give it that simple modern touch. The white chairs would brighten the room perfectly – as would the spotty silver confetti napkins and silver trellis tablecloth – the 150×200 is the perfect dimension for our existing Tasmanian oak table. I love getting the emails every week – it is a highlight to hear whats going on! πŸ™‚

I would let you choose! My apartment is all white, any of the chairs and linen would look amazing! This is our first Christmas at our place and I would love to show off! The chairs have an essence of sexiness and the linen would top the setting off with their bright pop of colour! Please make my Christmas!! #addictedtodesign

I have been staring at my French Provincial table without chairs for way too long ! This prize would solve all problems. To go with the table I would have to say a pop of colour would work the best – imagine the lemon chairs along with the Marrakech yellow tablecloth and napkins. This would look simply stunning and not to mention would keep the Husband happy that I stayed out of the shops for a minute!!

Morning Jen, I’d love the pink or light blue chairs, they’re all stunning colors, so fresh & gorgeous, these colors would match our new back room perfectly, I can see the entire family enjoying them & the linen too, Tanya

Oooh so so nice!!! If I could have my dream combination I would choose the following; the Original Red A18 Bentwood Chair, the Silver trellis (TX-75) table cloth and the Asha Red (KBNP-91) Indian Summer napkin. πŸ™‚
What a fantastic opportunity and couldn’t have come at a better time. I will be hosting Christmas lunch this year in my recently purchased home and I currently don’t own a able cloth :-p … Among many other items!
I will be keeping my fingers and toes crossed πŸ™‚ Thanks again. X

Apple Green Bentwoods, Silver Trellis Tablecloth and Asha Navy Napkins would set the stage for our traditional beach christmas and summer holidays… green the colour of summer, silver the touch of christmas cheer and navy bringing the nautical to life!

In my household, we do everything at the kitchen table: food prep, colorful drawing by my 2 years old, sewing, eat dinner, intricate lego construction by my 4 years old, relaxing with friends… so having the right chairs is important.
The Original White Michael Thonet Bentwood Chairs would be the perfect addition to our busy lifestyle, and a confetti table cloth would make the kids crazy happy. Thanks for making us dream!

What an amazing competition! After some serious drooling I think I would go for 4 of the yellow bentwood chairs and purchase 4 of the pale grey as well. They would look fab against my gloss white table. As for the napery I’d like to mix it up with clashing colours, as we love colour in this house, and would pair the yellow chair with the Asha Navy napkin and the pale grey chair with the Asha Pink napkin. Thanks for letting me dream! x

My dream table setting would be the ever elegant and truly timeless Grey A18 Thonet Vienna Bentwood Chair, complemented by the Morocco Tablecloth in Rommani Yellow and accented with Indian Summer napkins in Zahra Navy.
Why? Because there is no space more cherished in my home, than around the dining table,
With family or friends, a meal or a glass of wine, sharing news good or bad, discussing world affairs or trivial tales – these moments are memories, and what better way to celebrate this space than adorning it with the very best!

Oooooh, the choices, THE CHOICES!!!!! My pick will be for two of the pink Bentwoods and two of the lemon yellow Bentwoods, teamed with the Romanni Indigo tablecloth with the Gold Trellis napkins…… Loving a bit of colour this season!!!!!

Thanks for the opportunity to win this great prize!
I would love the lemon yellow vienna Bentwood chairs, Asha red tablecloth and Zahra navy napkins. I’m hoping to renovate my kitchen next year in a fairly simple all white palate with pops of red, so what harm could more colour do?!

I would love to sit on the Thornet Designed A18 Lemon Yellow Vienna Bentwood Chairs, and match with the Zahra Kelly Green. My daughter and I are redesigning her playroom into an art studio and they would both fit perfectly. We have a large dining table in the middle of the room and the pop of colour from the chairs and tablecloths would help bring this room to life.

Ainslie

Gold Confetti Napkins with a Gold Trellis Tablecloth to adorn the table and sitting comfortably on a Pink Original A18 Vienna Bentwood Chair, what a glamorous way to spend Christmas Day!

Amazing Competition…wouldn’t our homes look amazing with such beautiful chairs and stunning linen.
If I was lucky enough to win I would love the white bentwood chair with natural socks with the Gold Confetti Table Cloth and Gold Trellis Napkins from the Glamorous Range…What a great way to celebrate Christmas!

My dining room is in desperate need of a renovation and update, however when I begin to consider it, I am overwhelmed and a little intimidated by options, choices and styles. Looking at these beautiful and timeless bentwood chairs I can see myself building the rest of the room around the Grey A18 Thonet Vienna Bentwood Chair, Asha Navy tablecloth and Rommani Emerald napkins. A beautiful summer orchid in the middle of the table and I would finally feel like I can entertain in that room!

I can’t decide, I can’t decide, I can’t decide! I am obsessed with Bentwood chairs and would absolutely love to be the super lucky winner! I think I would go bold and choose the Aqua Blue Bentwood Chairs, gold trellis tablecloth and Zahra Navy napkins – this would look gorgeous on our table! Such stunning products! Fab giveaway! Fingers crossed ….

I was so excited when this competition came up on my Instagram feed. At 35 I have only just bought my first proper grown up dinning table and I love it. I didn’t buy a dinning setting as I love the eclectic look, I have loved these Bentwood chairs after seeing them all out at the Finders Keepers markets and falling in love with how amazing they all looked together. The chairs would go perfectly around my table. My colour choices would be the pink, aqua blue, light grey and the lemon yellow. Then the Asha Kelly green table cloth with the Asha Pink napkins. Thanks for such a great competition Emma

We were gifted a beautiful oak dining table from my in-laws when we first bought our new house. Sadly the chairs that came with it were green, vinyl and massive – plus they do not at all do justice to our petite (read – extremely small) dining room and with 33 degree summers and no aircon, we literally stick to the seats. It would be amazing to avoid the awkward in-law explanation of why the oversize green vinyl has to go – and just breeze in with the fabulous original white bentwood chairs! The best of both worlds – a family table and some fabulous stylish chairs… and no pre-Christmas arguments πŸ˜‰

Here in sunny Queensland our outdoor table could do with a spruce up – and dressing it in the Kentana navy tablecloth with Asha pink napkins would be just the thing for a festive, summer vibe.

LOVE Brentwood chairs, have always wanted them in my home (ideally, with a marble topped cafe table). I would opt for the bright pink Brentwoods – how can you say no?! Silver confetti napkins and Zahra Navy tablecloth would balance out the pink perfectly.

I thought this would be difficult to decide, but once i thought about it was actually quite simple:

1. The chairs: Black with the raw leg ends – the black would work with any table and as they aged over the years would take on so much character!
2. The table cloth: Moroccan Rommani yellow – The yellow would be a perfect pop of colour for summer and make a great statement against the black chairs;
3. The napkins; Moroccan Zahra Navy – the blue with naturally go well with each others and with all of my mother’s old Willow dinner ware the table will be an explosion of blue and white pattern!

Then, i would just need to fill the table with white flowers, light some candles and my dream setting would be complete! πŸ™‚

Oh my goodness, I just love them all but as I am the only female in the house (even the dog is a boy), I would love to go PINK. Brentwood Pink Chairs with Indian Summer Asha Pink Napkins and Tablecloth. That way I have a little piece of lush in my male dominated space. And moving into a new house on Dec 10 in sunny Qld and also having a December birthday, how self indulgent can I get! Thanks for the opportunity to enter. Fingers crossed!

ooh I’m having a love affair with navy right now and trying to incorporate more of it into my home so would choose the Navy chairs and the Moroccan Zahra Navy napkins, fabulous with my white table!

I’d love a playful mix incorporating all the colours to brighten up our eating area – kind of like the way a rainbow icecream taste better than vanilla even though it is just colored vanilla – it might make my cooking yummy!

I’ve just given birth to my 4th child, another beautiful baby boy, exactly one week ago. My house is filled with fun, laughter and love – but it’s also overflowing with matchbox cars, trucks and practical, kid-friendly cheap furniture suitable for a regular boy trashing.
So you can imagine how much of a dream come true it would be to win my own little piece of luxury to have this Christmas. Something classic and classy; something stylish and feminine that’s all my own.
I’d love the white Thonet chairs and, being severely outnumbered by males in this house (!), the pink table linen.
Merry Christmas x

my dining room could do with some POP of red! I’d love the red chairs / napkins. I’d mix them with a few of my own vintage pieces to create something gorJUS x

I would absolutely love two black and two white Bentwoods to go with my monochromatic/Scandinavian Christmas theme this year. Then pair those with the Silver Confetti napkins and silver Trellis tablecloth.
Thanks Jen πŸ™‚

Our dining room chairs could really do with replacing. It’s such a hard choice between blues and reds, but I think I’d have to go with red chairs, ketana red table cloth and asha red napkins.

Love it all!

After returning from living OS for 4 years we are in need of replacing the furniture we sold before we left. I can think of no better way to start collecting beautiful pieces than these gorgeous chairs. I’m thinking fresh white for a fresh start, with gorgeous silver trellis linens. A terrific giveaway, Jen.

Would love to win the Indian summer napkins in red and the bentwood chairs in black – so in this mad world my Christmas shopping for my beautiful husband is done!

Hi Jen
I cant say I’m any more deserving than any other person on here. However I’ll put my case forward!
I have a beautiful 18th century worn farm table that these would look great with. This is the only stylish piece I currently own, it sits next to my lovely green 90’s couch! It’s the old saying ‘one day I’ll buy that couch or those chairs’
So I would love to win 4 of these Bentwood chairs to match my table. 2 Aqua Blue A18 Michael Thoret and 2 Original White Bentwood Chair with Natural Socks. With Katana Navy tablecloth and Asha Navy Napkins.
This would be the ultimate Christmas present! Thanks a million πŸ™‚

aprart from this table Currently I have very dated 90’s chairs. I too have a LOVE for these chairs; their traditional, homely and stylish all in one.

I dont think I deserve to win any more than any other person, but it would be amazing if I did!!

We’ve just moved into a new home, and I am currently sourcing fabulous pieces to furnish it. I have just bought an amazing new dark timer square table, and currently dont have any tablecloths or napkins to go with it.

I would just love to win 4 original Bentwood Chairs in white.. I would also love to win a Marraekesh Emerald Table cloth, and Marrakech Hot Pink Napkins!

Id actually love any of it!!!!

Thanks so much!!!

Wow, what an amazing competition. Bentwood chairs are probably the only thing that has never been removed from my Dream Home wishlist. My choice would have to be 1 Aqua Blue, 1 Lemon yellow, 1 Original white & 1 Original white w natural socks. The napery from The Brown Trading co. would be all the same though, the Silver Confetti design is gorgeous.

Hi Jen,

I know…judging from the amount of people who have entered… (along with my recently unlucky streak)… I probably wouldn't get picked. But just thought I'd try. I've never ever wanted to win any giveaway as much as I want to win this!

Anyway, these chairs.. oh golly, they are super special and have been one of my favourite chairs of all time, along with the ever classic Eames. I love bentwood chairs so much, I am actually currently saving up for a set of 4 for my new home next year. My fiance and I are getting married next September and we're moving into our first home as a couple next March. I have been living with 'funky' housemates and cheap $19 foldable Ikea chairs for the past 6 years and have been saving so hard to buy real chairs ( for the first time in my life!)

Bentwood chairs are so special to us.. we're planning to have classic walnut ones at our wedding ( set in a beautiful heritage listed house, in the middle of the bushland… all amongst beautiful tall eucalyptus trees) We have been envisioning hanging cute Mr and Mrs signs, tied onto our bentwoods with lovely sparkly white silk, navy and gold ribbons… a girl can dream! I know others probably really want to win as well but I truly hope my fiance and I get to be the lucky ones for once… Winning this would mean we get to save and spend more on nice bits and bobs like good food for our wedding guests! Money is kind of tight for us as a couple even though we do work super hard. We've got 2 weddings to plan. Ah ! ( one in Melbourne and another in Singapore – where we are originally from )… so please, please, please pick us. If I could even add in sprinkles and sparkles along with my comment so it stands out, I sure would! Thanks Jen : ) x

PS: Congrats on your marriage too! Your video made me teary! So exciting, planning a wedding and having it and the life as a couple after! xoxo

Oh and of course, my choices:
Bentwood Chairs: Black Thonet Designed Vienna 18 Bentwood Chair w Natural Socks
Table Napkins:ZAHRA NAVY
Tablecloth: ASHA NAVY
<3

Hi Jen!
Have been following you on Instagram for a while but only recently found your blog site – loving it by the way!. I am an aspiring interior designer and just got accepted into uni the other day for a Bachelor of Design which I am totally thrilled about! A great start to my favourite month.

I have my 21st Birthday coming up at the end of the month and will be hosting some ladies over to celebrate before we head out. The Original White Bentwood chairs I couldn’t go past as they would look amazing on my wooden deck floors, table cloth I would go with the Gold Confetti as my theme is gold, silver and pink, and napkins I would chose the “pink and gold check” to add a bit of texture.

Hope you have settled in after moving! X

Just gorgeous!! Classic Brentwood chairs & beautiful table linen, the perfect finishing touches for our new home. Unfortunately having just had a baby and building a new home, these are the sorts of pieces that are at the bottom of my very very long list! The White Brentwood chair with socks & the Marrakech indigo linen would be perfect for my ‘chic Hamptons’ theme. Thank you interiors addict for all the inspiration and helping us make our dream home a beautiful reality! X

Oh my goodness Jen! We just finished the renovation of our kitchen and dining area, but of course have no budget left for new furniture or accessories. We chose those exact chairs for our “one day” wish list just this week. I would love, love, love black Bentwood Chairs with natural socks. And the Indian Summer table linen in Zahra Red would work perfectly with an artwork we have in the room. Fingers crossed…. If I won something like this I think I might burst, would make my Christmas, year, etc! Great comp πŸ™‚ Annie

My boyfriend and I have just bought our first home, a gable built in the 1940s. The house has had very little done to it since it was built and we plan to leave a lot of the features that we like in place (such as the angled cabinets in the kitchen) but update everything – we have a LOT of work ahead of us. I would love to have the light grey original chairs with the pink and gold check table cloth and silver confetti napkins OR the original green apple chairs with silver confetti table cloth and napkins in my new/old dining room. Such a great competition!

I am currently Studying Interior design and Bentwood’s have always been a favourite of mine! we recently learnt the full history behind the bentwood and Michael Thonet I love that the chairs are still produced today and have been a lasting design since the 1800s

I love that Thonet was so ahead of the times as the chairs were often “flatpacked” making it easier and more cost efficient to send abroad or by sea as they didn’t take up as much space on the boat but were still easy to assemble at the receiving end! way before ikea created the flat pack revolution.

I also love that Thonet has kept there prices affordable for the average person and haven’t made the design inaccessible because of a high price point although being a student I’ll have to keep saving my pennies to even afford one!

I would love to win the black and white Bentwoods with the natural socks! I love that they have given the collection a modern take!!

OOPS I didn’t add the napkins and my dream table setting I got so excited at the thought of a REAL bentwood! I would definitly choose the gold confetti table cloths to go with the black and white Bentwood’s with natural socks paired with the Silver confetti napkins then have the table adorned with beautiful flowers, champagne amazing plates and christmas bon bon’s and decorations! who can pass up confetti themed things for the perfect party table setting!!! DREAM!

Oh wow this is amazing!
For my dream setting I would choose 2 x Original White Bentwood Chair with Natural Socks and 2 x Natural Cane Bentwood Chairs.
In the gorgeous tablecloth I love the Gold Confetti (how fun!) and the napkins in Asha Navy.
I absolutely love cooking for family and friends. It would be so incredible entertaining with this gorgeous setting….it might even make my cooking appear better!

What a fantastic competition Jen.
I would choose a monochrome set of Bentwood Chairs – Grey, Light Grey, Black and White – to surround my black table. I would pair with bright Rommani Indigo napkins and Zahra Orange tablecloth.
I just bought an apartment and at age 29 it is the first time I have lived without share house mates (26 house mates over 12 long years!). I am relishing the opportunity to surround myself with the kinds of lovely and special things you wouldn’t risk having in a share house. I no longer have to just bookmark all my favourite posts of yours – I can now put them into action, and lovely bentwood chairs and pop of colour napery would be a great way to start!

Oh, my gorgeousness. The colours are beautiful. I couldnt’ resist them. One red, one yellow, one pink, one blue. I love colour and I would mixy matchy the table linen too. What a festive Christmas table, and such a joy all year long!

Loving jade greens and turquoise blues this summer, so couldn’t go past the Aqua Blue A18 Michael Thonet Bentwood Dining Chair to lighten up our dining setting (to replace the heavy, dark Chinese elm chairs we currently have) and the Indian Summer napkins in Asha Kelly Green would contrast beautifully with the blue! And a splash of metallics would set it all off nicely so would have to go with the adorable gold confetti table cloth, cute! This would be an awesome Christmas present for me before I give birth to my second Christmas baby in a few weeks!! x

Some say stripes and spots don’t mix,
But my dream tablescape depicts,
Four Walnut Vienna Number 18 Chairs,
A quirky Silver Confetti tablecloth and if one dares,
A quartet of napkins in Pink and Gold Check,
A designer masterpiece (although some may say a wreck!)
This prize is for me, a girl who takes chances,
To find new and exciting innovative advances!

Wow, great giveaway! We’re just coming to the end of a hectic renovation that included so many unforeseen variations – $7000 sewer main anyone!!! – we’re flat broke and can’t afford to buy any of the fun things. Black Thonet 18’s with natural socks were definitely on the list and the deco style Silver Trellis tablecloth would go a long way to hiding a table that needs updating!

Our Christmas will be spent enjoying the new reno and waiting for the arrival of bub #3, due any day around the festive season. Good luck everyone and Merry Christmas!

This competition is absolutely amazing and would be the perfect Christmas present for my young family.

The competition could not have come at a better time for my family. I purchased a white tulip table today so that we can finally have our first meal together as a family on Christmas day. My 15 month old (boy/girl twins) have been eating at their high chairs which they have outgrown and my 3 year old moves between the breakfast bar and lounge while my husband and i are running between the 3 kids to get them fed. It will be great to finally have somewhere for our family to go to to eat. The Thonet Bentwood chairs would be the perfect accompaniment to the table. The linen will look amazing too

My home is full of fun and colour so i would choose chairs and linen to suit our energetic young family
I cannot go past the Thonet 18 Bentwood Chairs in
Aqua Blue
PInk Original
Lemon Yellow
Apple Green
The gorgeous GOLD CONFETTI tablecloth and MARRAKECH HOT PINK napkins will be amazing for Christmas and every other day!!

What a fantastic prize!! For me it’s got to be the white chair with natural socks, the gold confetti tablecloth, and Zahra navy napkins. This post has been edited an embarrassing number of times because all the options are just unbelievably lovely, so I had a really hard time choosing!

OOOOO we have JUST ordered a custom made dining table to be delivered in time for chrissy. One side will have a custom made bench seat and the other side we NEED four new chairs to finish off the look and I have been eyeing off the replica and “fake’ bentwoods to finish off our vision. To win REAL bentwoods would be an amazing Christmas miracle. Our Table is dark stain table top with deep red legs.

I would chose the Gold confetti table cloth, from the glamorous range from the gorgeous Keren and for the chairs I would chose, well I don’t know for sure but either the aqua, beetroot or red. It would all depend on the finished colour of the leg of the table / bench chairs before I decided on colour. I want vibrancy and modern with an industrial edge.

p.s. WICKED giveaway

Such a difficult decision! I would choose red chairs, a navy Rommani tablecloth and Marrakesh yellow napkins – for a much needed colour injection into my kitchen. I’d love to have something new that doesn’t need any ‘work’ – we have been buying second hand furniture and painting it, which is taking so much more time than expected for a pair of first homeowners. Merry Christmas!

Oh my! Ketana navy linen, white bentwood chairs with timber legs. Divine! Would make my dining table look lovely! Yes please!!

Move over TARGET dining room chairs and hello BENTWOOD !!!
I would LoVe to win this amazing prize because ..
Christmas is about family. ………………………. 30 family members- so I need more chairs !!
Christmas is about fun ……………………………..4 new COLOURFUL Bentwood chairs- 1 red, 1 pink, 1 aqua, 1 green !!
Christmas is about food ………………………….. Beautiful new pink and gold checked napkins that hopefully don’t get dirty!
Christmas is about fashion on the table ..Sensational gold confetti tablecloth scattered with paper confetti !!
Christmas is about happy times ……………..Like winning this competition !!

Such gorgeous chairs and linens. Thank you for the opportunity to have a chance at having them ourselves!
Although these are all beautiful, the black Brentwood chairs and navy Zahra napkins would be my first loves. I would choose the black chairs because they match the black legs of a new (to us) table we just purchased for the kitchen. I love the Indian Summer collection- I went to India last Christmas and I had really looked forward to it for a long time as I love the music, colors and textures of India but unfortunately it got cut short b/c my younger brother became sick back in the US (thankfully recovered fully) so I didn’t have as much time for shopping as I intended to there! I did go to the charming Anokhi textile museum-I recommend for all people who love colors, decorating, texture and an appreciation for detail.

OOh, I really love the Michael Thonet No 18 Bentwood chair (as if I don’t have enough personal padding), the Zahra Navy napkins and Silver Trellis tablecloth. I got the table and my ex got the chairs and napkins in our recent split so I’m looking forward to thanking friends for all their support at a stress-free dinner (with somewhere to sit) very soon.

I have a really small house with room only for some key pieces. To add interest and change it up I bring in colour and pattern. That way I never get bored! For me four white bentwood chairs , Ashea navy tablecloth and Zahra orange napkins would give me a fantastic pop and focal point!

Wow! What an amazing giveaway! I’d love to win a set of four Bentwood Chairs: Black Thonet Designed Vienna 18 w natural socks and the beautiful Brown Trading Company, confetti table linen for my 80 yrs + parents. We have recently helped them update their home and these would be perfect finishing touches!
<3

What a wonderful comp! Thank you IA. Hmmm….decisions decisions… Hard to go past Bentwood chairs – with socks. Socks! Two in white and two in black would be lovely. And then to funk it up a bit, I would love to throw a happy yellow Rommani tablecloth across the table and dress with Hot Pink Marrakech napkins. Too too pretty.

My current Ikea dining chairs creak and groan like an old scrooge at the dining table so when I saw your comp I felt a song comin’ on…
I’m dreaming of a white Christmas
Just like the Bentwoods I wish I owned
Where the tabletops glisten,
with gold confetti linen
Just like sleigh bells in the snow

I’m dreaming of a white Christmas
With every napkin that I sight
Is the pink and gold check type
Winning this comp will make Christmas a delight!

Firstly thank you for that divine fantasy shopping spree! I’m going to go wild and choose 1 Bentwood in each lemon yellow, green apple, aqua blue and pink original. I’m going to pair that loveliness with the gold confetti tablecloth and the pink bow napkins.
If you can’t beat it join it & with two tiny terrorists filling my dining room daily with lego land mines I may as well join the colour crusade. Darren Palmer always says you start with the floor & surely nothing goes better with indescribably foot torturing plastic toys than refreshing gelato coloured Bentwoods!

I really love the RED chairs.I would have a white confetti tablecloth and for interest I would overlay with the gorgeous red trellis cloth. In fact I would love any of the colours ,they are all gorgeous and stylish. However red is a favourite colour and I have various pops of red in my kitchen like a Red stand mixer and bowls.

The Original White Michael Thonet Bentwood Chair and the Ketana Orange napkin is the perfect combo for our boring beige unit!

I have just completed renovating my house it needs new furniture to complete the fresh new look. I would choose the stylish Grey A18 Thonet Vienna Bentwood Chairs, Asha Navy tablecloth and mismatch of the Navy napkins, tasteful and fitting with my beachfront home.

Wow – what a prize! I can picture glossy walnut Thonets teamed with the Indigo Rommani tablecloth and bright Emerald Marrakesh napkins. Simple white crockery, ornately vintage silverware and big hammered silver bowls filled with pomegranates and figs. Lots and LOTS of candles and lanterns of varying sizes flanked by sapphire glasses filled with Turkish coffee. Sigh!

Three simple design rules I stick with are;
1. Use white on walls, ceilings and furniture where possible. It bounces light around the room and feels both elegant and relaxed at the same time. White chairs are my pick for a chick look.
2. Stick with timeless classic furniture, like Bentwood chairs. Sculptural and functional they give “bones” to the room.
3. Go for lots of fabrics that can be used to dress the room in whatever color accents you favor. Table linen can instantly set the scene for any mood from French farm house to exotic Moroccan.

Two Bentwood’s in blue, yes that would do.
But add two more in white, to make it right.
Then if I’m able, to put on the table
The “Ketana” in navy would just be the gravy,
And to finish Christmas lunch, I’d take the pick of the bunch
The “Asha” orange napkin, to wipe up my chin.
A Christmas feast for the belly and one for the eyes.
Oh that would be the best Christmas surprise!

OH how to choose! But I think I would go for the white bentwoods with natural socks, I love the blend of the crisp, fresh white with the earthy natural patch. And for the table Asha Kelly cloth in green with the Asha Kelly napkins in navy, fresh hydrangeas and candles plus grandmas famous carrot cake to dress the table top. The Asha pattern really does make me think of an Indian summer, and it would look beautiful serving the seafood lunch this Christmas.

White and wood, how can you go wrong. About to move into my new house and totally revamp it to be classic, modern, touch of scandi design and a bit eclectic – yes I do love mixing my styles. These chairs are AMAZEBALLS and matched with the silver spot designed tablecloth would be relaxing, dreamy and totally charming for any time of year. Love love love!!!

Winning these gorgeous original Bentwood chairs and table linen would be an amazing Christmas.. And birthday.., surprise! I would choose the classic original white with natural socks, and gold trellis tablecloth with Marrakech emerald green napkins! Gorgeous!! Xx

I’ve been heading down the neutrals road for a little while now and I’m craving a pop of colour to spice things up. I’d go 4 chairs in red because at the end of the day I like things to match. As for table linen, surprise me, as a caterer and stylist of high teas I’m always on the lookout for something new and pretty to glam the table up. I will be over the moon if I win, thanks for the chance. Ali

How cool and classic all in one little chair. Love to replace the out door setting we currently use. I would be happy with any of the colours but love the lime with the hot pink accessories

Jen you give away the best prizes.

love your work and all the great products and companies you bring to us..

Little hands in this house, so grey for the chairs. Plus it’s a stylish colour that goes with anything Then a pop of colour with the Asha navy cloth and then napkins in Zahra orange and Kelly green. Time to set the table and get cooking!

Pink, Blue, Green, White.
Brentwood makes Christmas a gorgeous sight.
Different color for each of my beautiful friends.
Perfect gifts to share around your amazing Brentwood trend.
Asha Navy napkin for me, YIPPY.

A pink chair, a red chair, a yellow and a blue,
It was so hard to choose, I will have to buy another 2!
The tablecloth was easy, Gold Confetti is a must!
Anything sparkly and shiny is pure utter lust!
Now the napkins were tricky, to match or to clash?
I would buy them all if I had enough cash!
The Morocco collection won this time around,
Emerald, indigo, yellow & hot pink on my table will be found!
I would love to win this most amazing giveaway,
Adding so much colour and happiness to my home would brighten my day!

Oh my – all of them look amazing! But for me it is the black with natural socks and linen – well green is my colour there! Fantastic comp – thank you!

Simple, yet elegant… It would have to be the classic white Brentwood’s matched with the stunning Glamorous Gold Trellis table dressing… Just perfect!

My boyfriend and I have just purchased our first home and currently the only items we have to put in it are a hardwick and cesko circle of life print, a second hand fridge and a couch. So obviously every little bit helps! πŸ™‚

If we were to win we would like original white Brentwood chairs, the silver trellis table cloth and Rommani yellow napkins.

Thank you and merry Christmas!

Ps thanks for introducing me to the brown trading co.

Beautiful chairs – my next upgrade in my home is dining chairs and this would be the perfect start to a collection of 6. The cloth napkins are lovely, a perfect way to refresh a dining setting.

LOVE LOVE LOVE! what a great giveaway
I would have to choose the yellow ones – I’m a yellow freak at the moment and have hints of yellow throughout my house. So the linen would have to be the blue.
thank you & Merry Christmas!

How fabulous – my all time favourite chair in black paired with the gorgeous Gold Confetti tablecloth and the Gold Trellis napkins. I can’t tell you how wonderful that dining experience would be for my family for Christmas this year.
Thank you for the opportunity to see this in my mind’s eye already!

Firstly, I do not currently live in Australia however my partner does so I hope I’m good to enter. Moving over from Alberta next June. I love any and all things green so my first choice is always green. A close second is anything pink. Obviously I deserve to win so it’s just a little less furniture I need to ship over. My moving cost is gonna be crazy with a potential wait time of 6 months.

I have a table that my husband made me, I remember saying to him “If we build it they will come!” And they did. Our table is surrounded by a collection of memories. Each chair is from some one or some where special. Two from my grandmothers old setting circa 1940 beautiful arched back turned legs. Two are a rather industrial pair my father in-law nabbed from an old pub in Melbourne before it was refurbed circa 1950’s, one is a Op shop find from our pre kids days and one is an antique from my husbands great grandmother. All in all a total mixed bag of colours, shapes, eras and memories. I’d be thrilled to add a new chapter to the table, I love nothing better than a mixed bag of colours! Pink, Grey,Blue Green! Tee it up with the adorable polka dot table cloth and blue print napkins. I can just see it with my newly acquired brass cutlery set a wedding gift of my parents passed onto me. Bliss! x Merry Christmas!

Wow, such great colours! Our kind-of recently renovated kitchen/dining room is all light colours, so I can add the pops of colour as I like. However – reno’s being reno’s the budget for those extra nice things is non-existant! I’d choose the original chairs in beetroot, silver confetti tablecloth and asha navy serviettes.
Good luck everyone!

What a wonderful Christmas gift (that I would pass on to my daughter who is leaving home and setting up her first home). I would choose the White Bentwood chair with timber socks, the Silver confetti table cloth and matching napkins. This look can be so classy and romantic, and also be used to pop with coloured accessories for a different look time after time. Just love it!

This will be one amazing christmas present for anyone that wins. It would be such a treat and the christmas present that just keeps giving – so i would love to say that i would like to keep this but i would actually love to give this to my mum for christmas – since having my baby – my mum has been my rock, man she has been so supportive and so giving – this would be the best thing to give to her – she never gets anything for herself and her chairs really do need a makeover. But christmas is her time to shine and she loves doing the christmas table. She really is a beautiful soul and i love her – so the bentwood chairs in original white/ tablecloth in rommani indigo / napkins in rommani yellow – and how cute would it be with pineapple centrepieces and some cute indio and yellow pom poms or decorations hanging over the table.
Thank you for offering such a great competition

This is an amazing Giveaway, a brilliant chance to incorporate great design and comfort into a home. I would love two of the Grey Original Brentwood chairs to complete my home office, and one each of the white with natural socks and black with natural socks for each of my bedrooms. They will match in with my monochrome colour scheme perfectly. To brighten up my dining room this Christmas I would choose Zahra Red Napkins to go with the Silver Trellis Tablecloth. I am most grateful for your blog and the introduction of many wonderful companies, for which I wouldn’t have found as quickly.

I would love the Bentwood Black chairs/Asha Red tablecloth/Ash Red napkins
because these would make a wonderful addition to Christmas celebrations – adding
style and panache to my room.

I love the Original White Bentwood Chairs with the natural white socks, these would go perfectly with our antique wooden kitchen table which has been handed down from my grandparents. I can’t stop drooling over the Gold Confetti tablecloth and Gold Trellis Napkins. This would complete my dream table setting look and add a modern twist to our Christmas this year – cheers to that πŸ™‚

11 years ago, when I was basically a kid, I married an awesome chap. Along the way, various little nests have been loved and furnished and last year, we were joined by a super-cute little person. We’ve wanted for nothing and are so thankful for what we have but you know what? At the dining table, we’re still sitting on flipping IKEA stools because I’ve been holding out for my dream chairs! Bentwoods – I heart, heart, heart you. If I could call one of these chairs my very own, I think my bum would be forever grateful. Not to mention how awesome some black Bentwoods would look at one-day-maybe tulip table (a girl can dream, right?). And then I’d get all classy by dressing said table in some beautiful Rommani Indigo and Zara Navy table-bling. *Sigh*. Oh please, oh please, for the love of comfy-butts and beautiful, beautiful chairs. Fanks awfully! x
P.S. Please forgive my somewhat gratuitous mentioning of bottoms. Not really appropriate for a design blog is it? πŸ˜‰

Ohh fantastic!!! I’ve just finished a four year design course and am taking my first steps into the world, including an internship interview just this morning with Country Style home living magazine! The whole experience is daunting and exciting but it makes me think of expressing myself in my future home as I transition from the student apartment to a fresh canvas! I adore Danish interior design and think the Bentwood chairs in Light Grey, Silver Trellis napkins and Silver Confetti tablecloth would be the perfect starting pieces to set off my dark timber floors and white walls – which I can only dream of now but will endeavour to make my own!
Thank you so much for this wonderful opportunity Interiors Addict,
Much love, Lou x

Oh how I would love to host a garden party with four pretty Bentwoods as guests, 3 in light grey and one of course in yellow. I would dress the table in the prettiest silver confetti skirt and trim her with yellow Rommani napkins. We would sit and sip and enjoy.

I inherited a white bentwood chair from my grandmother who passed away forty years ago. I loved the connection it gave me to my grandmother and also to my now deceased father who guided me in the restoration of the chair. Unfortunatley it was recently stolen from my front verandah (in a quiet cul-de-sac!). I grieve for it’s loss and what that chair represented. I would love to own another white bentwood chair(s) – even though they won’t have the same emotional connection- they will still bring a warmth to my home in memory of my grandmother.
The tablecloths and napkins are all gorgeous but my choice would be a gold confetti tablecloth (180 x 400) with gold trellis napkins — a classy combination for Christmas.

Merry Christmas!

My partner and I have just moved out together for the first time this week. It would be the best gift ever to receive the B9 bentwood armchairs in white with the natural socks, they are my all time favourite chair!!! I’ve always wanted one,. I have loved the work of the brown trading co for quite some time now and I am yellow obsessed at the moment so I can’t go past the Moroccan Romani yellow tAble cloth and the Marrakech yellow napkins. All this would make an amazing dining setting and I would love to share it with my friends and family.

OH. MY. GOODNESS. I have died and gone to Bentwood heaven.

Fingers, toes and eyes crossed xo

We are moving to a new house next year for a new beginning after the death of my husband two years ago. I am going with white walls and kitchen and would love 4 new Bentwood chairs around our lovely old pine table rescued and lovingly restored from a shearing shed years ago. I would choose 4 different colours, pink, aqua blue, white and lemon yellow, teamed with The Brown Trading Co ‘Asha’ napkins in 4 different colours, navy, pink, green and orange and the silver confetti table cloth to add a little bit of sparkle. I can picture us around a table that brings sunshine, love and happiness to our home. Thanks Interiors Addict and RelaxHouse!

I would LOVE some gorgeous red bentwood chairs! I’ve been in love with Bentwood chairs since I was a kid, and have a few old rickety ones but Id love these funky colourful ones and have a new outdoor space that needs some attention starting with table and chairs! Id love blue or grey linen to compliment the red the chairs, but Id be rapt to win anything!!

Almost everything in our home is vintage or second-hand (often-times that means found on the side of the road and given some new-found love!). One of the only store-bought furniture pieces we have is our dining table picked up at a warehouse clearance sale. I love it dearly (for it’s colour, it’s size, the little scratch that made it so affordable…) and that’s why I would love to see it all dressed up for it’s first Christmas with us with the white Bentwood chairs with natural socks, the Indian Summer Tablecloth in Asha Kelly Green and perfectly contrasted with the Indian Summer Napkins in Asha Orange. These colours will look so great next to the vintage green icebox we use as a side table! Thank you.

As I write this I am sitting on my favourite dark mahogany Bentwood Chair , found in a funny second hand store on Queen Street. My love affair begun a while ago but has really been cemented by the time I spend on this chair at my desk.

Coupled with my Nannas beautifull old dressing table that doubles as my desk and my Imac it really is a suite of truly inspired design.

I would love more ‘original’ Thonet Bentwood Chairs in White with the Natural Socks to replace my ‘replica’ white Eames DCW chairs- Champagne taste on a beer budget unfortunately led me to chose these ! However with a family of 2 young boys I needed a chair to stand the test of time without breaking the bank. I think the Bentwood Chairs would satisfy this brief very well and with elegant simplicity.

I would probably have to splash out on the Le Corbusier B9 Armchairs with Natural Socks if I won , to complement the chairs. With a name like that , and such an incredibly sensual shape, how could I not ?

For the table setting I would chose the Silver Trellis tablecloth – Again elegantly simple with a glamorous art deco theme that would be a subtle addition to the table and could be used for any occasion that required that extra special table dressing. It would perfectly complement my living and dining room that are decorated in a style that is a smattering of contemporary and mid-century furniture.

For the napkins I would chose the Marrakech Yellow as I do like to contrast colours and it would provide a fresh burst of colour, suitable for any celebration.

Thankyou Jen for introducing me to these two websites !

I have recently renovated the kitchen and would love some new chairs and table settings to finish off my new looking house. I would pick I the black thornet venna, with natural socks and Zahra Kelly green napkins with matching table cloth for an added colour! This would be a wonderful christmas present.
Thank you.

Christmas is coming! I cannot believe how fast the year has gone. In January this year we found our dream dining table. We have “borrowed” one for the last 5 years when we moved in as newly weds. I said to husband (back in January) wouldn’t new curtains look great with the new dinning table (The table would be in front of a window). Husband said, if we change the curtains we should also repaint. I said, if we repaint we should redo the kitchen tiles (The space is dinning and kitchen combined). Then husband said, if we redo the tiles we should do the kitchen benchtops. So That’s how one conversation led to the start of my kitchen renovations all because of one table. That said table is still not brought. The said renovations are slowly (oh so slowly) moving along. The table is still our dream table, I have been dreaming of beautiful Vienna Bentwood Chairs to go with it, I am a lover of yellow so I would have to go with the Lemon Yellow A18 chairs. The Gold Confetti is the table cloth is what t I would love to see on my table. The napkins would be Rommani Yellow, to go with the chairs of course!
Thank you Jen for a great Christmas competition.

I love the Original White Bentwood Chairs with the Natural Socks; these would go perfectly with our antique wood dining table which is a treasured item handed down from my grandparents. I can’t stop drooling over the Gold Confetti tablecloth and the Gold Trellis napkins for my dream tablesetting which would add a modern twist to our Christmas lunch this year – cheers to that πŸ™‚

oooh I would have to pick the black Bentwood chairs with “natural socks”, the Ketana Navy tablecloth and Zahra Navy napkins. Would love to win this prize as I am currently fitting out my first home with my partner and we have had to start from scratch, buying everything from a dustpan to couch. Trying to slowly accumulate furniture that will last a while, being thoughtful for our first set of everything by purchasing classics or modern classics. Would love the opportunity to own these beautiful items that we would probably own for a lifetime.

Hello Jen,

Thank you for giving me the opportunity to enter this wonderful competition.

I would choose 4 Lemon Yellow A18 Vienna Chairs

The Glamorous Gold Trellis Tablecloth

Morocco Marrakech Hot Pink Napkins

I wish to win this prize as my fabric dinning room chairs are looking a little sad after 6 years of little ones ( 3 years of my sisters children while she lived with me as a single mum and now 3 years with my own children) eating their meals at the table. In addition I’m in the process of painting a extra large pale pink heart on my dining room wall & these pieces would really look amazing alongside it. I would happily share beautifully styled photos of my prize on Instagram with you, The Brown Trading Co, The Relax House and the design loving community to admire.

Thank you for your time & this opportunity Jen.

I’m dreaming of summer days spent with great friends sitting on our new White Brentwood chairs around our beautifully set table. Everyone commenting on my new Kelly Green Zahra tablecloth and Navy Asha napkins. The afternoon is filled with great food, glasses of bubbles and laughter!!! Hope my DREAMS come true.

My winning picks from RelaxHouse and The Brown Trading Co would be the divine Gold Trellis Tablecloth adorned with the beautiful Ketana Pink napkins all supported by the timeless chocolate richness of the European Vienna Bentwood Chairs! This would complete my dream dining room makeover which is still stuck in Shabby Chic world and desperately needs a modern update. I believe my picks are perfect for any occasion but especially for the festivities of Christmas and New Years which I would love to celebrate in style with my family!

What a fun idea! – I love playing pretend interior designer and dreaming up my ideal home. Having moved from NYC to Sydney to be with my long distance boyfriend, I really struggle not having been able to bring any of my own furniture to help create a space that feels like ours, and not just his – aka bachelor pad. Our place desperately needs color and the warmth that only a girlfriend’s touch (and an internet furniture competition) can bring. As a newbie to this country, I love throwing dinner parties for new friends, and what better way to host a dinner party than with colorful chairs and linens! I hope you like my selection, and that you’ll help me bring some color to my new home, so that I can truly feel like it’s my home, as much as it is his.

For the chairs, I would definitely go with 4 of the Light Grey Original Brentwood Chair, I think they would look gorgeous with a scandinavian/lucite dining room table. And I’d opt to tie in the color through the Silver Trelis table cloth and further compliment it with the Hot Pink Marrakech napkins. By sticking to mostly the same color palette – I’m going for the clean and simple look, with the color coming from the food, setting the meal up as the hero within the room.

Thanks for the introduction to these sites – and for constantly educating and opening my mind as to the wonders of interior design and the potential of my new home.

Wow! I have been coveting Bentwood chairs for months now, searching secondhand stores endlessly to find some to fit my budget! We have recently moved form a shoe box to a 4 bedroom house and are struggling to furnish all of the rooms. These would be perfection!!
The original white Michael Thonet chairs with the Glamorous Silver Trellis table cloth and matching napkins would perfectly suit the look that I am trying to achieve for our breakfast table.
Thanks Jen

The classic bentwood is my all time favourite chair. It reminds me of growing up with my little cousin (who is now taller than me) and sitting around her dinner table on bentwoods with the sort of straw/hash seats that eventually wore away after so many years of meals and family parties. Being my fave chair, I’m actually not too fussy at all and would just be grateful for the fabulous prize. In saying this however, one can never go past classic white. It fits any decor and any themed dinner party. Being Christmas, I would go the Gold Trellis table cloth with the Asha Red napkins from the Indian Summer range. They look like snowflakes and tie in nicely with the Christmas theme. I would complete the look with homemade pine wreaths around thick candles – a nice, red, white, green and gold Christmas table.

On that note, Merry Christmas Jen and all at TIA x

Oh my gosh!! Would so LOVE to impress the out-laws (from Manchester) arriving to spend Christmas with our family! Would so love to offer them a summery setting to enjoy an Aussie-style Christmas lunch. And of course, a few new interiors toys would certainly make it easier to bare the burden of having the out-laws staying with us for 8 weeks (!)
I usually have to use the outdoor chairs to create enough seating on Christmas day (for extra visitors) would be so much nicer to offer our guests the comfort of some gorgeous Bentwood chairs in Original White.
I would then adorn the table with a Gold Confetti tablecloth, and mix and match napkins, including the Pink & Gold Check Napkins (teamed with the gold & silver confetti napkins I already purchased from The Brown Trading Co.
Was planning on making bonbons out of the confetti napkins to place at each place setting to make the table fun!

What an amazing oportunity!

I have been coveting Thonet Bentwood chairs for years, to go around my antique extendable Chiswell dining table, which I will be seating 14 for christmas lunch. Planning has already begun for what we are calling the Flavour Mansion Christmas lunch, it’s going to be delightfully spectacular!!

I would choose my chairs to all be light gray, with just 1 Apple Green to counter balance and give an assymetrical finish and emphasis. For the tablecloth I would use Romani Yellow and silver confetti napkins.

I should win because it would really be the emphatic touch to really make the event that much more photogenic!!

Thanks for the ongoing inspiration Jen!!

Love love love these collections!
For me: Red, Navy and white is always right. So a classic original white bentwood chair with natural socks would sit nicely at a table covered with a Ketana Navy tablecloth. Place some Zahra Red napkins for colour and you’ve got my perfect table setting πŸ™‚ Got me dreaming now… πŸ™‚

Desperate for the black Thonet Designed Vienna 18 Bentwood Chair w Natural Socks.
LOVE the Marrakech Indigo tablecloth and can’t decide whether I like the Asha orange or the Marrakech Yellow napkins with it more. Maybe the yellow? It’s tough.
Our current table and chairs were donated to us by my BF’s grandparents. Which was so sweet, and we couldn’t afford to fully furnish so we were very grateful – but, let’s be honest. They’re hideous. New chairs and a table cloth to cover the table with couldn’t make me happier.
Pretty sure those chairs were made for me. They’re on my wish-list regardless. (Fingers crossed!) Thanks!

My dream table setting would be to mix and match with two White, one Red and one Aqua Blue of the beautiful Bentwood chairs. Then I would compliment my eclectic decor with the Silver Confetti table cloth and a pair each of the Asha Pink napkins, and the Ketana Pink ones.
Then I may just have to finish off my table with some hot pink Peonies!

Oh! To have a fun, but very stylish table setting for Christmas would be the BEST GIFT EVER!
…instead of our old table and chairs ruined by my arty kids and topped off with festive paper napkins!! πŸ™‚

Now I’m dreaming of a pretty Christmas!!
Thanks Jen, it’s been a great year of inspiration and I look forward to what you will bring us next year!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!
May your first married one be BLISS! x : )

An Indian Summer is what my daughter will be having for Christmas, so in honour of her, I would love the Indian Summer tablecloth in the vibrant, graphic Asha Red with the smaller patterned Zahra Red napkins. My great grandmother’s lyre back dining chairs are slowly becoming another “project” for me to restore in my shed (already groaning under the weight of other similar projects and treasures), so the classic lines of the Original Bentwood Vienna 18 Chair with the embossed sunset seat in walnut, would marry perfectly with the roadside finds and family treasures.
As the cicadas chorus merrily in our perpetual Christmas tree (an enormous Norfolk Pine planted over 50 years ago), I hope we’ll be sitting down on our bentwood chair classics to a fabulous champagne breakfast with crisp white crockery, and sparkling silver cutlery, contrasting dramatically with the vibrant red napery. A Merry Christmas, indeed!

Bentwood, bold and brash in brilliant blends of bountiful colour. Good design will just keep keeping on.

With our brand new long-awaited kitchen being installed today, and the plan to order Bentwoods for our new 3m long table, I would LOVE the Black Bentwood with natural socks to break up the mix! Our Tretchikoff wall mural would also contrast beautifully with the Indian Summer Ketana Navy 180 x 400 tablecloth, and the Indian Summer Zahra navy 45 x 45 napkins. I love it when a plan comes together! Good luck to all!

I looove the the black Thonet Bentwood Chair with natural socks, I have had my eye on these bad boys for so long, they would look stunning at the dinning table my great grandpa made. To complete the Christmas look I would go the Glamorous Gold Confetti table cloth, paired with the Morocco Marrackech Emerald napkins – love!

I would love four white Bentwoods to go around our gorgeous old oak table in our farmhouse. It was my great-grandparents table and came with them on the boat from Ireland. I’d love the white Bentwoods to not take away from the beautiful wood, and we have a lot of white + wood accents in our home. My kitchen has a lot of classic blue and white so I would love the zahra navy tablecloth with the asha navy napkins. My new years resolution is to have more people over for raucous dinner parties – this would be perfect!

oh me oh my I don’t think santa ever did it this good!!!!!!
I would love to mix and match a little bit of mish/mash hodge/podge is how we roll
Any classic bentwood chair would be a wonder gift for the home and joy for years to come but as a super wish list – I would love a hot pink for my girls a little ray of sunshine with canary yellow a stanch black for the hubby and ruby red for some Christmas cheers – Indian summer asha orange napkins for some joy and Gold Confetti table cloth for a little extra something
thank for the chance to win

This is a very exciting competition! Love the chic Bentwood chairs.
Firstly the reason why I would love to win these chairs is because I currently do now own any. My fiance & I’s first home is still being built, so we are yet to purchase any & truthfully probably couldn’t afford such amazing dining chairs. The colours I would choose is 2 yellow & 2 pink vienna chairs because frankly who could go past those pretty pink flamingos & the alternating colours would be a stand out feature. Yellow just screams summer to me as well. The table cloth & runner I would choose would be the Silver Trellis, both matching to pull in the overall scheme of it all.
Good luck everyone!!

Gorgeous fresh white Bentwood chairs would have to be my pick – I have a feeling 4 won’t be enough, and then I can add to those whatever colour I wish. The stunning eclectic mix of the Zahra table cloth in Kelly Green with the Silver Confetti napkins would be a gorgeous fresh backdrop for my Christmas spread. Hopefully everyone would ooh and ahh so much over the napiery, they may forgive any culinary disasters on the day.
Have a fabulous Christmas Jen, and thanks again for all your wonderful articles throughout the year.

Divine comp thank you Jen! My dream combination would be the black Thonet designed vienna 18 Bentwood chairs with natural socks, the Asha tablecloth in navy, and 4 different coloured napkins, also from the Asha range in green, red, pink and orange. Please pick me! I have 2 kids under 3 and making our unrenovated home a place of beauty, order and harmony is such a rare thing. If I had these goodies I’d have no choice but to hold a little dinner party or 2! X

We bought second-hand replica Bentwood chairs a while back and we are still absolutely in love with them… But after two of them broke badly (one, when a slightly overweight friend came over and set on it… the chair just collapsed under her… The other one broke a leg and fell backwards with my baby sitting on it… Scary!!!) We would LOVE to get some real, timeless, sturdy Bentwood this time. As for the colours, I am tempted to say the yellow ones (my favorite colour!), but since I changed decor on a regular basis, I should play it safe and get the stunning white with socks one. I also really like the Walnut one and the cane one… I’m not fussy, really πŸ™‚ And since my Christmas theme is red and white this year, I couldn’t go past the Ketana Red tablecloth with Zahra red napkins! Dream, dream, dream! Thank you for offering the opportunity to enter this competition and best of luck to everyone!

Oh wow awesome competition! I would have to say 4x the Black B9 Le Corbusier Bentwood Arm chairs, a Rommani Yellow table cloth and Rommani Indigo napkins!

I’ve just moved into my 1 bedroom flat and desperately need to decorate and furnish my lovely new home! I currently own only 1 chair…. how depressing and it’s not very accommodating for entertaining guests over the silly season!

I would choose the white chairs with the natural socks and match it up with the Gold Trellis tablecloth with the Gold Confetti napkins because they are all so ON TREND at the moment and would brighten up my basement flat and my heart πŸ™‚

Loving the ‘Relax House’ and ‘The Brown Trading co’ websites – these are an early Christmas gifts in themselves – thanks Jen!!

Merry Christmas everyone!

I love bentwood chairs and would love to give this prize to my mum. I have been helping her set up her new home and we have been looking at bentwood chairs, and stools, for her open plan living dining area. My mum loves the bentwood chairs and has be lusting after them for decades. I grew up with Thonet dining chairs (cafe style, not the bentwood ones) and over the years each of the chairs were dispersed between my house, my mums and my sisters. I have the last one, and am somewhat regretful that our family set was split up. So I treasure the one I have left. I would love to help my mum with a new set of bentwood chairs and would choose the white sock style with a white linen napkin set however I would leave the colour choice up to her. She loves colour and may choose to go with mis-matched colour chairs and linen. thanks for organising such a great completion and prize and good luck to everyone who enters!

I would absolutely LOVE to win the black Bentwoods with natural socks! I bought 6 antique originals (only ever originals) on ebay months ago and despite asking many questions and receiving several assurances of their quality, 3 of them are wonky and split. I would so appreciate being able to use a full, working set around my dining table. What a wonderful Christmas gif that would be! Thanks for the opportunity guys x

Hi Jen, what a gorgeous prize for the festive season and beyond- for a busy family that desperately needs these Bentwood chairs, and gorgeous tablecloth and napkins from The Brown Trading Co! The table is the heart of our home, where we eat, talk and get together and a space we value. Our family has had a lot of fun and good natured arguing πŸ™‚ deciding on what we like and this entry is a contribution from us all as to the combination and choice we agreed on for this awesome competition to come our with our ideal chair napkin combination. We all love colour and pop and our current crop of mismatched, uncoordinated and very rickety dining chairs are really tired on their way our ( not too mention dangerous when we have friends and guests over – I am always worried they may collapse at any moment !) – we have the colour but not the style that these classic Bentwood chairs would add to a very high use area of our home which is part indoor leading to a small outdoor space and backyard. My 9 year old daughter has chosen the Pink Original Bentwood, my 12 year old son liked the red or the Aqua Blue Bentwood, I loved the lemon yellow and my husband liked the light grey. We really loved all the Napkins patterns but our final decision was the Marrakech Emerald napkins with the Ketana Orange Indian Summer Tablecloth. Yes it is a rainbow of colour of choice for us, but we would never tire of eating at our table, siting on our Bentwood and using the lovely napkins and tablecloth ( to cover our old table) for all celebrations, birthdays, dinners and everyday really. It would be especially welcoming and bright during Winter when everyone wants some colour. I almost really wouldn’t mind the washing and ironing of the linen for the joy everyone would get dressing the table and using the linen for every special celebration. Practical, stylish, fun and uplifiting, it would be a great Christmas present for our whole family to enjoy this lovely prize and beyond Christmas for every time we sat down at the table and enjoyed the colour and design around us. Thanks Jen, The Rogers Family.

Oh, how beautiful.! I’d love the Original Red A18 Bentwood Chairs as they’d look lovely with our timber table. I’d then choose the Asha Kelly Green tablecloth and the Asha Red Napkins. Very Chrismassy!

Without blue Bentwoods in our mostly white kitchen, we don’t have a leg to stand on in the decoration stakes but with them, we’d have 4 legs to sit on. (Go on, it’s lame but you know you want to crack a smile.) Matching navy table linen would be perfect.

Seasons Greetings Jen and the team. What a fab Crimbo comp.

All of these delectable home wares are on my Christmas wish list… My partner and I have recently bought our first home together and would love these beauties to help create the perfect pad for entertaining!

I love every piece so choosing isn’t easy. But I must say am loving the colour orange/gold right now so would have to hope for the gorgeous Ketana Orange 150 x 300 tablecloth and a combo of two Gold Trellis and two Silver Trellis napkins. Style these with four of the classically modern White Bentwood chairs w natural socks and I am one happy home owner!

I love all things interior design and would love the opportunity to showcase these beauties in my own home!

Thanks for the chance Jen and good luck to my fellow interior design lovers! XX

Hi Jen & Co,
We are looking to buy our first home so I try and restrain myself from purchasing big ticket items until I know what style of house we are going to be in. Irrespective of the house, classic Bentwood chairs would be the perfect addition! I would have to go for the gorgeous light grey – I am dreaming of a built in bench seat on the other side!
I am styling a girls Christmas lunch and the silver confetti tablecloth would be a dream, as would the Zahra Kelly Green napkins.
I have champagne taste on a beer budget… So it would be wonderful to get lucky with this wonderful competition.
Thanks,
Sally

Black Thonet Designed Vienna 18 w Natural socks………..
Marrakech Emerald 45×45 napkin………
Marrakech Emerald 150×250………

Do dreams come true? I’m hoping so (fingers crossed)

I think I would have to go navy for the chairs and the Rommani Indigo, Indian Summer for the linen! Gorgeous and so very excited if I were to win. Chairs would go perfectly with the one I picked up from the side of the road.

Once upon a time a woman dreamed of beautiful original white Michael Thonet Bentwood chairs to replace the unattractive plastic ones she had bought to be “child friendly” from the giant Swedish store. She imagined inviting family and friends around for an evening of celebratory dining and she imagined their gasps of delights as they saw her new chairs and the table elegantly dressed with matching Silver Trellis tablecloth and napkins. She knew it was hard to be stylish on a budget but her constant reading of design blogs had taught her well, she knew what she wanted, she know how to create the look she wanted if only her dreams would come true…

I love a true Bentwood, for all that it is
The curves and the framework, they’ll outlast the kids!
The colours are bright and gorgeous and fun
With contrasting socks for a set or just one
I would mix and match to suit the day’s mood
Or pick just one colour, I don’t want to be rude
To have the originals, now that would be bliss
For many it’s fakes but I’ll take a miss
In Europe they’re made all glossy with shine
Hand-steamed I believe to make them look fine
So the colour to choose, an impossible task
The red, pink & blue are sure to run fast
The classic of choice is the one I would choose
White with small socks you just could not lose!
Now napery is next from The Brown Trading Co
Everything’s beautiful, put it all out on show
What a gift it would be to win these great Christmas treats
The tablecloth, napkins and those beautiful seats.
xx

Dark Grey Bentwood Chairs;
Zahra Red Napkins;
Ketana Red Table Cloth…
The perfect way to add colour, pizazz and class to my drab old Miners Cottage:)

Having just recently renovated our home and hosting our family Christmas Day lunch for the very first time, I would be over the moon to win this competition. We recently bought a dining room table but haven’t yet purchased chairs. Thonet Bentwoods would be my dream!
So my picks would be…
* 4 white Thonet Bentwoods in white with Natural ‘feet,
* Zahra Kelly Green Tablecloth 180×300
* Asha Red Napkin 45×45
Such a gorgeous table set-up might help take a bit of the pressure off hosting Christmas lunch! Cheers to that!

I can picture white Bentwood chairs, silver confetti tablecloth, silver trellis napkins as the backdrop to my collection of op shop glass candlesticks which take pride of place on an oval mirror in the centre of my grandmothers (god bless her) timber table that was and will continue to be the gathering spot for family afternoon teas for many years to come:)

Hi Jen, my entry is all about LOVE. I love Bentwood chairs!! Not quite the same way you love your brand new hubby but as it’s actually my Wedding Anniversary (!), I thought I’d make the comparison πŸ™‚ So I am feeling lucky today… Lucky enough to win this prize I really, truly, ruly hope!

It would be the perfect Anniversary gift because now we have become a family of four: – me, hubby, son and daughter. So we could have one chair each (Original white with Natural Socks pretty please), a napkin for each of us in a different colour in the Zahra range (Navy for hubby, Red for me, Orange for son and Pink for daughter) with the gorgeous Zahra Kelly Green tablecloth. What an explosion of festive colour we can celebrate our Anniversary and Christmas with for years to come!!

I am embarrassed to say that we finished our renovation two years ago, almost to the day – and I still don’t have decent dining chairs or kitchen bench stools for that matter. So if I win the chairs, I have promised myself a little pressie too – I am going to buy the matching Bentwood stools!! Aaaargh so excited at the thought of it all!! Although it’s taken two years, my chairs and stools would be sorted – totally worth the wait!!!

Thank you Jen, RelaxHouse and The Brown Trading Co – good luck to all πŸ™‚

Mxxx
PS. I’ve been following you for a while now and this is your best competition yet!!!!

These chairs are amazing I would want a combination of 1 black, 1 white and one each of the black and white with the natural feet for my house would probably want to use them in other places around the house as we rarely use the dining room, but they are all beautiful it is so hard to decide. Tablecloth would have to be the KETANA KELLY GREEN 150 X 250 the print is lovely and the colour is gorgeous. Napkins the KETANA PINK 45 X 45, I love the look of the pink and green together.

Where do I start?! I have always wanted these beautiful chairs…..something my fiancΓ© doesn’t quite understand! We bought a beautiful big blackwood dining table last year but since then we have bought a new home, been planning (and paying for!) a wedding and raising to young boys so we haven’t had the budget. And sadly this means we are still using our old suede, food covered, dining chairs we bought 9 years ago from Fantastic Furniture!
For this reason I would LOVE 4 black bentwoods (they will fit in to our new home perfectly when we start renovating next year!) and I would choose a very happy and bright yellow Marrakech tablecloth with Rommani Indigo Napkins!
If I won I would probably take them all with me to my wedding on New Years Eve!! Wouldn’t it be great signing the registry while sitting on an ORIGINAL bentwood chair!

please add to my crazy love of chairs by rewarding me with the fab light grey bentwoods, love them so much. My butt will thank you for it πŸ™‚ ha ha love ya work!

Mismatched chairs all the way!!! Lemon yellow, apple green, aqua blue and pink chairs for me. I love lively dining spaces, they SHOULD be fun and colourful! But at the same time, so many dining tables would look gorgeous with classic yet colourful chairs. Since I’ve already splashed colour around, I’d choose the Marrakech Yellow table cloth and Asha Pink napkins. No half measures here!

If dreams come true
I will be over the moon,
for white and gold will set the tone,
for this years Xmas at our home.
White Bentwood chairs with natural feet,
with bows and bells you just can’t beat.
Napkins and tablecloth in gold trellis design
will host our food and our wine.
I should win cause I love Jen’s site,
I’m on it morning, noon and night.

This competition must be fate, as I have been lusting over the beautiful original bentwood chairs (Grey A18) for our kitchen meals area which is being installed next week! Not only would this be the perfect finishing touch to our new build but the glamorous Gold Trellis napkins would really bring our birch timber table top to life. To win these would truly make my year! x

Green Apple Original Bentwood Chairs
Gold trellis tablecloth
and
Zahra Kelly Green napkins

We have just bought our first home and this would be such a fabulous start as we currently don’t own any furniture!

delicious candy colours to bring a smile to the biggest ebenezer scrooge at christmas time! pink and green, oh and blue & yellow!

Thanks for hosting such a wonderful giveaway! I have always really loved the Bentwood chair design. My dream would be to have the Michael Thonet Designer No 18 Bentwood Chairs paired with Gold Confetti table linen and Gold Trellis napkins. We are newlyweds setting up our new home and would love to inject some beautiful signature pieces of furniture into our new home. We currently sit on second-hand IKEA chairs we got from eBay, so not much style or personality there… so all our fingers crossed! x

Picture a 100 year old Subiaco home which has been thoughtfully decorated. With the stunning Farmhouse Dining table 260cm long sitting beautifully in the open plan living and dinning area. But the dinning chairs are a bit plane!! Wow !! Here comes a great competition to win the stunning Bentwood dining chairs! What an offer. So my choice would be Black Thonet Vienna 18 designed Bentwood chairs with natural socks! Perfect!! With the fresh colours of the Marrakech Yellow Table Cloth mixed back with the Silver Trellis napkin.
Perfect combination to finish off a stunning home !! Please!!!!
Warm regards,

Felicia

Oh, I would love four original white Michael Thonet bentwood chairs, Rommani Emerald Green table cloth and Zhara Kelly Green napkins! A splash of green on the table at Christmas lunch and white Bentwood chairs would give our 1920s farmhouse a fantastic lift – it would be a Christmas to remember!

Pink chairs and Zahra green tablecloth with silver spot napkins. So happy and so girlie. If I won it I could totally justify these sitting in my dining room to brighten everyone’s day. And if I won I’d be able to purchase a cool new dining table to match it all.

Oh, and I promise I will buy another 4 from Relax House because I’ve been there already and couldn’t make a decision because I coveted everything!

Thankyou for this competition. Just entering is making a lot of people happpppeeeeee……

Oh these are incredible!

I’d choose pink, yellow, blue and green with white linen. A chair for each member of the family, and so bright and fun!

I would have to go with a classic black Thonet Bentwood, I have a bay window and a round table that have been waiting for the perfect chair to go with it. The Silver Confetti tablecloth and napkins would be fun to complete the look. #pleasepickme I would be able to have the dinner party I’ve been putting off with a set of new Thonet Bentwood chairs and linen to match. #dinnerpartytoremember

I love the light grey, white, grey & black bentwoods! AH-MAY-ZING! and the silver confetti tablecloth & napkins.
I’d love them this Xmas as my husband & I are just starting to decorate our home after living with second-hand furniture for the last two years when we first got married…

What a choice! I think I would mix them all up and have splashes of colour instead of my drab brown chairs and cheap and nasty table linen that we use.

Absolutely love the Bentwood Armchair Black w Natural Socks with a Asha Kelly Green table cloth and a touch of yellow Marrakech Napkins to set the christmas table and brighten the day! With a large family on christmas day, we struggle like musical chairs to find a seat! This would be the perfect addition to complete our home!

Hi Jen and all you Interior Addicts out there!
House parties are wonderful! I love the concept of:
Lemon Bentwood chairs from Relax House – such a sunny / happy colour!
2 x Asha Pink Napkins to reflect my Indian Culture and girlyness
2 x Marrakech Emerald Napkins for my husband and other male guest sanity and love for straight lines and logic
And the “Gold Confetti” table cloth also from The Brown Trading Co because it oozes party and would look fabulous combined with fairy lights!!
Here is a collage of the look including the drinks I would serve my party guests πŸ™‚ – please click the link!

Thank you for the chance to win and for fabulous down to earth style and interiors blogging.
Pip

Wow what gorgeous bentwood chairs and table linen. I would love couple chairs in white and a couple in green apple (to match my kitchenaid). The silver trellis would be great for Christmas setting with pops of green on the table too. We’ve just moved into our forever home where we plan to make many memories with our kids

The Dusty Grey/mauve with the blue table linen would look utterly beautiful in my new dining room, where the window overlooks my magical blue, purple and pink Hydrangas.

If I could chose it would be the Original Bentwood No 10 chair, paired with the Silver trellis table cloth and the Zahara Navy napkins.

My 3 year old has assigned favourite colours to every person she knows, regardless of whether or not they in fact like that particular colour. In her perfect world, everyone would wear only their assigned colour and eat food which is also just their favourite colour. (She only wears pink and I am constantly colouring her food with raspberry juice). Therefore, I would get a chair for each person in our family that is their favourite colour, it would make her day, week, month, year and Christmas! Pink, blue, yellow and white, each with matching napkins.

I have been dreaming of a hot pink and silver collaboration of colour for my Christmas table setting and can already visualise the pink Bentwood chairs around my dining table dressed in a stunning Silver Trellis tablecloth and accessorised with Silver Confetti napkins. I would roll up the napkins into “bon-bons” with a gift inside for my guests and tied at each end with a hot pink ribbon. To finish off the look I would spray paint a collection of pinecones and gumnuts in hot pink and silver and arrange them in a large antique silver bowl in the centre of the table. I would serve pink strawberry punch in tall cut-glass crystal glasses with the rims dipped in silver edible glitter………I have heaps more ideas up my sleeve like these ones and would be happy to share them with you if I win!

As many of my fellow
instagrammers, family and friends would attest – I am a HUGE colour lover! Nothing makes me happier than colour and lots of it

A mix and match of colours and styles – my abode is a colour lovers oasis – sans the dining area!

(Insert boo hoo here – haha).

I have been living with the same boring dark brown Super Amart 4 person dining suite for more years than I care or wish to remember and I desperately need an update!

Having brought in colour to nearly every other space – bedroom with linens and artwork, lounge room with my Freedom nesting side tables in bold hues of pink, orange and red together with artwork by Emily Green and decorative pieces including a hot pink skull and gold ceramic pineapple – it truly is a let down when casting the eye towards the dining nook!

In true colour loving style I couldn’t help but choose the Bentwood chairs in Lemon Yellow, Pink, Light Grey and Aqua Blue with table linen (napkins) by Keren Brown in Marrakech Emerald, Indigo, Yellow and Hot Pink – BUT – I would have to contrast the chair to the linen – no matchy matchy here!!!

I would have to team the Lemon Yellow bentwood with the Indigo linen; the Light Grey with the Emerald linen; Pink Bentwood with Yellow and the Aqua Blue with Hot Pink linen. Set it up with some gold look cutlery and some simple glassware on top of the Keren Brown ‘Asha Ornage” tablecloth – and ‘voila’ – the perfect setting!

Winning the chairs and linen would (apart from being an amazing Christmas present) help transform my boring dull dining space into something that could only be described as ‘happy’ – a colour clashing entertainers delight, a smile inducing space to share a cuppa with a friend and an inspirational area to study!

Only thing left would be to buy my ultimate dream table – the white round tulip from RelaxHouse and my dining space would be complete!

Thank you for the chance to win such a great prize Jen, Keren and RelaxHouse!

Regards,
Jourdan Parker

The Michel Thonet No 18 chairs are stylish, sleek and sophisticated, combined with the funky fun Marrakesh Yellow Linen would be great!

Summer ! Gold Coast ! Christmas Colour !
Gorgeous choices !
Our little beach house would really love
3 x Original White with Natural Socks and 1 x Black Thonet with Natural Socks AND the Marrakech Yellow napkins and tablecloths..
Happy Festive Season Everyone xo

Beautiful competition…
Light grey Bentwood chairs, silver confetti tablecloth and napkins…perfect for Christmas and perfect for my girls birthday parties…in fact any excuse will do-everyday perfect!

What a perfect giveaway!! What a present πŸ™‚
I would choose the black bentwood with black socks, the blue asha navy napkins and tablecloth – just to spice it a bit, I would pick red flowers for the table decoration and white candles.. beautiful πŸ™‚
I hope I win πŸ˜€ then I could have it in my new and first apartment .

Amazing!
I would love a combination of the black & white Bentwood chairs, with natural socks. I love this touch of natural timber, which would tie back in perfectly with my slightly distressed dining table!
Combine this with the Rommani Indigo tablecloth (who doesn’t love Indigo) & the Silver confetti napkins for fun, would love to win!

How is this a giveaway????? Ridiculously exciting.

I’m of two minds. Part of me would like to go madhatter’s tea party and have one of each colour chair with Marrakech napkins in different colours. But I am not that colour brave!

The actual likelihood would be that I would go for something that I could use day to day. I would like the Black Bentwood with no socks and silver confetti napkins.

This would be perfect for my first time hosting family Christmas in my first house!

3 light grey and one hot pink chair to go with my heavy dark brown wooden dining table- the dining table I grew up with – doing my drawing home wrk and dinner at. The modern but classic chairs in that combo would lighten the table, making it fit with my white washed oak floor boards and 80’s designed house….and I could move the pink chair into my bedroom too! The silver confetti napkins are fun yet sophisticated and would tie in with the grey chairs, and the Asha pink tablecloth is colorful and gorgeous and I just LOVE it! x

Wow I just cannot decide!! I have got the three pages open and keep looking at the beautiful products and just can’t figure it out!! Not a good thing that I’m indecisive as my husband and I are about to build our first home in country SA in the new year, wish me luck! I love the idea of getting chairs in different colours but I don’t think I can go past the beautifully classic white Bentwood with natural socks. I adore the Gold Trellis tablecloth and think the Ketana Navy napkins would go perfectly. Thanks for the great opportunity Jen, love your work xx

Oh to have some Bentwood chairs in my house and in any colour – not fussy – to join our other character filled, rickety chairs – which I’ve threatened to dispose of over the past several years!

And with family finally joining us for a change, for Christmas, these chairs would be a very welcome and very attractive addition to our eclectic mix of furniture.

Finger’s are crossed! X

Our brand new home is practically finished! we move in in 2 weeks and desperately need furniture as beautiful as the house itself! We would adore these chairs, especially since we are hosting Christmas! Need to get something for the guests to sit on! xxx

PS once the house is all unpacked it would make a great feature for the blog! Scandi inspired beauty all over, with lots of colour pops!

Forgot to say which were my faves…
to go with our crisp white kitchen and light ash bar back, the original white with natural stocks would be the perfect chairs, then add some colours, my two favourites at the moment, navy and kelly green, which are also going to be our wedding colours. So i like the Asha kelly green table cloth and the Zahra Navy napkins

this would all look amazing on the dining table we have picked out… a huge concrete table big wnough for everyone to sit around! http://www.earlysettler.com.au/products/outdoor/masson-table-2200-x-1000mm.html (check it out it’s gorgeous)

I would be over the moon to win four original Bentwood chairs in original white and the Indian Summer Zahra Navy napkins.
Bentwood chairs are such a classic and timeless piece of furniture and I personally think they compliment any dining table. These chairs would therefore allow me the freedom to change my dining table as much as I liked over time. Exciting!
The napkins would be a beautiful contrast to the white chairs but the colour and pattern would also compliment the soft furnishing elsewhere in my open-plan dining/living room area.
Having this all by Christmas Day would be a bonus and an awesome Christmas gift to my little family!

My husband and I have the questionable distinction of having never owned a dining table. We’ve been living in TV dinner sin for 7 years and counting. Chairs and linen like this would certainly change that, and be an amazingly well-timed blessing for when we host my parents from interstate for Christmas dinner.

I have a weakness for classic black and the clean lines of a Bentwood, so couldn’t go past two black Bentwoods.
The beech socks are just so adorable, the other two would need to be black with socks.
A gold confetti tablecloth and gold trellis napkins would bring a beautiful touch of Christmas to our home.
And winning this prize would bring an amazing end to an amazing, eventful year.

This is an incredible giveaway! I would absolutely LOVE to win! my husband and our toddler have just moved into our first home together and I decided to paint everything white with the dream of adding bold splashes of colour through furnishings but of course once you pay all the bills the money runs out and so did my dream of bright yellow Bentwood chairs and hot pink napkins! We are hosting Christmas for the first time and I would adore for our home to look bright and happy with the help of these divine furnishings! Thank you so much for the opportunity! Meg

I would want 4 of the Original Red A18 Bentwood chairs, 4 of the Asha Red Indian Summer napkins, and 4 of the Asha Red Indian Summer placemats. I have white and black dishes, and I would love to make them pop with these bright colored items.

I would go for bold and bright with Aqua Blue Bentwood Chairs with Romani Yellow Tablecloth and Rommani Emerald Napkins. With these gorgeous colours I’m sure to β€˜sea’ a β€˜wave’ of colour through my home!

With our white walls the choices are endless! Living by the sea gives me so much inspiration, I would probably go with a tropicana theme – yellow Bentwood chairs and splashes of colour from the Indian Summer range. Summer is here it’s time to add come sunshine and colour!

Hi Jen,
Hubby and I have recently retired and we can finally fix, remodel, paint and replace!

Your giveaway would add fun with sophistication to a tired old place.

My pick would be to go psychedelically and take us back to our heydays -mixed coloured chairs of pink, yellow, blue and green and the linen would be the complimentary opposite!

I would love the Original White Bentwood Chair with Natural Socks matched with the Zahra red table cloth and Ash Kelly green napkins. Making the perfect set of christmas colours!

Four white Bentwood chairs would complete my French Country themed dining room…a table setting of white/grey tablecloth, white with silver rimmed plates, cups and saucers…fancy vintage cutlery and a grey/white striped vase as a centre piece would complete the ultimate setting…

To have this all delivered by Christmas is awesome, making it a very special ‘family’ gift.

The Grey chairs with the polka dot linen was my absolute favourite. I love black and white and can never decide between the two so grey is perfect. Plus grey furniture like a grey marle t-shirt will always be a classic right?

My dining table is in desperate need of a makeover. The chairs have been with my husbands family since he was a child and have been reupholstered many times. I’d love to reupholster 2 of them and then mix in the Green Apple Bentwood chairs to sweeten the look. The Zahra Kelly Green Cloth and Asha Pink Napkins would spice up the mix. THankyou very much for opening this competition. What gorgeous products.

I will certainly be having another look at these websites! I just love a combination of white, grey, charcoal and black bentwood dining chairs. The silver confetti table cloth and silver trellis napkins would look perfect with white crockery and serving ware. It’s a simple and stylish combination.

Firstly, thank you Jen for such an exciting competition!

My perfect combination would be four Bentwood chairs in black with the silver trellis table cloth and silver confetti napkins. The geometric pattern of the trellis table cloth would compliment the curve of the bentwood perfectly. The silver colour palette is sophisticated and timeless and finally I love the fun and quirkiness of the polka dots against the geometric pattern of the cloth.

I am at an age where I will soon be starting to set up my own home (on a very limited budget) and it would be an absolute dream to be the proud owner of four classic Bentwoods. Being the first designer to discover a method for bending wood, to me, Michael Thonet and his classic Bentwood design symbolise the possibilities that are available to us all through design. It is fascinating to me how Thonet explored the limits, durability and strength of wood and used it to create a simple, timeless chairs with elegant lines. I love the history of Thonet’s iconic Bentwood design and would be so grateful to have a little part of this history in my own home.

Happy weekend!

Oh, what an opportunity. I’m also a lover of Bentwood chairs. I love their look and they also have a sentimental value to me for many reasons. I was originally going to go for a pop of colour but have decided to stay more classic because if I win they will become my forever chairs (I’d have to purchase another two to make up the six I will need). I would love four Bentwoods in white, and would add my splash of colour with the Morocco Marrakech Yellow tablecloth and finish it off with The Glamorous Silver Confetti napkins. Why should I win? At the moment the dining table I share with my hubby and two young boys is a 1970s hand-me-down from my parents. We bought our home seven years ago and we haven’t done much to it since :/ I’d love an update and I just know that if I won these chairs I would be ecstatic and then to combine them with the linen (we don’t own a nice table cloth or cloth napkins – the joys of having little boys!) I believe that looking at them and using them in my home would really make my heart sing πŸ™‚ Thanks xx

I seriously don’t mind either table cloth or napkin because they are all lovely. But seriously, the white Bentwood chairs are divine. OMG. I loved them since I first laid eyes on them, and this was AGES ago. Unfortunately I have resigned to never being able to afford a set – and have just to make do with my $9 IKEA foldable chairs. Sigh.

I have fallen in love with Bentwood chairs! I love the Original White chairs – there is true elegance in the clean crips colour and style of them. A silver trellis tablecloth and silver confetti napkins would ad so much style to our dining room and make me proud to have people over for dinner!

Thankyou for hosting such an incredible generous competition!

Merry Christmas,
Kate

We bought a house yesterday and I am Soooooooo excited. I was in complete disbelief yesterday but after half dreaming half sleeping and arranging furniture in my head all night I think it’s sunk in!! I’m straight into research mode this morning!!! I’ve come across your website and now this amazing competition. I love Bentwood. Who doesn’t but I haven’t seen these colours before. Colour I love colour! Honestly I think I would be happy with any combination or set they are all so bright vibrant fun stylish and contemporary all at the same time. I do however really love the lighter and the darker grey and adore the plain white with the natural socks. All stunning and would look incredibly in our new house with the blue / grey egg shell paint on the walls. Now the linen….wow!! Love the red indian summer, love the glamour grey spots. Actually love it all!! Would be thrilled if I was lucky enough to have any!! For Christmas however the grey or white chairs with the red indian summer tablecloth…STUNNING!!!

I fell in love with the Bentwood chair after studying the history of chairs in interior styling this year. Winning these chairs would be a great “grad present”. Also, I left behind my dining chairs in Canada when I moved two years ago, and have been eating on the couch ever since. Dining chairs would be great around the Chiswell table a friend rescued for me in a council clean up! No question, I would pick the white Bentwood chairs with Zahra pink napkins and Ketana pink tablecloth. With my aqua and white plates, it would look bright and tropical! Thank you!!

I would love the pink chairs and linen. They would bring an unexpected pop of colour into my home! And they match my personality to a T!

Four white Bentwoods chairs with the silver confetti tablecloth and the Zahra pink napkins would make up my perfect table setting. I have loved these chairs for ages, they are so vintage-y, simple, elegant and would suit my home to the T.
I’m not going to give a little story as why I deserve to win because I think everyone deserves it (and I am crap with words!)

Thanks you!

I love to have colour in my home, my kids are happier and our home is a place of fun and health. I have been trying to buy these chairs second-hand online and spray paint them. Love them, any changes I make to my home make my friends and family inspired.

On the first day of Christmas my true love sent to me,
A link to β€œRelaxHouse” and β€œThe Brown Trading Co.” for me to see,
On the second day of Christmas my true love sent to me,
PJ’s for each of my precious pea!
On the third day of Christmas my true love sent to me,
3 foster children I expectantly did not foresee!
On the fourth day of Christmas my true love sent to me:
3 foster children
PJ’s for each pea
Eye opening Furnishing links
and a stray β€œexpectant” dog we found roaming around by the sea!
On the fifth day of Christmas my true love sent to me:
3 foster children
PJ’s for each pea
Eye opening Furnishing links
A stray β€œexpectant” dog
Our stray dog was malnourished and we were sent an astronomical β€œvet” fee!
On the sixth day of Christmas my true love sent to me:
3 foster children
PJ’s for each pea
Eye opening Furnishing links
A stray β€œexpectant” dog
Astronomical β€œvet” fee!
Encouragement for my mind to explore the furnishing links and go on a virtual shopping spree!
On the seventh day of Christmas I sent true love my Christmas Wish:
A list of timeless homeware,
β€œAsha Red Napkins” complimented with the β€œZahra Red Table Cloth” for our blended and growing family to share!
We have a rule that socks must always be worn,
So the β€œBlack Thonet with Natural Socks” and β€œOriginal White Bentwood with Natural Socks” I was torn!
2 of each would epitomise delight,
Instant impact at first sight!
The festive β€œmood” these sumptuous items do bestow,
Complimenting my candelabrum with white candle sticks all in a row!
The eighth, ninth, tenth, eleventh and twelfth day of Christmas never came,
Because my wish was granted by β€œInterior Addicts” when I realised β€œWinner” next to my name!
Our family have had a very remarkable year which we have embraced,
However ALL our furniture has been given and is mismatched and it’s time for much deserved welcoming taste!

I would love to win these chairs for my daughter. She and her husband have two small children and the chairs around the dining table are very old vinyl ones picked up from street throwaways! Several now have springs sticking out.
The Bentwood chairs I would like are the Wenge Vienna by Thonet. Such a classic style, but rugged enough to withstand normal family wear and tear.
The napkins are the Ketana navy ones and the tablecloth the Zahra navy. The designs of both complement each other.

I have wanted these chairs as our dining chairs for 5 years now… SO hope I WIN.
I would choose the Light Grey Original Bentwood Chairs, with a Rommani Indigo Table Cloth and Rommani Yellow napkins.

I would actually take one of each colour; since I can only choose 4 I would take them how you show it on the aqua blue picture in aqua blue, lemon yellow, original red and original green. I would match table cloth and napkins accordingly with a changing table cloth for every event.

I’m a bit of an INTERIOR ADDICT too.
I often buy furnishings for my home over new clothes and shoes.
Would love some new BLACK THORNET BENTWOOD CHAIRS
for Goldilocks me and my 3 bears,
a ROMMANI INDIGO MOROCCO TABLECLOTH
and KENTANA KELLY GREEN 45 INDIAN SUMMER NAPKINS
to make plain porridge on my Indian Wood and Iron Table look ravishing.

We’re a mismatched pair with an eclectic flare! Who you will choose is hard to predict, but eclectic flare goes hand in hand with Interiors Addict!

Would love 4 white bentwood chairs with Asha Navy tablecloth and Asha Navy napkins. Just stunning.

omg…what a prize…..i love the blue as i have a sailor type theme in my home that will just look super better with a benchwood chair

As an interior design student purchasing beautiful items such as these is always a “one day, someday” thing. So to be able to win would be an absolute delight! My dream table setting selection would be the Light Grey Bentwood Chair, the Silver Trellise Table Cloth and the Marrakech Yellow Napkin. The subtle grey chair matched with the Art Deco inspired table cloth pattern give a classic elegance to the setting whilst the beautiful yellow napkins give a fun pop of colour!

What a truly wonderful competition, thank you so much Jen for this amazing opportunity!
Christmas is taking on an added dimension for my little family this year after a week we would probably rather forget ( but will never be able to!). There is nothing more precious than life and love…….and I came perilously close to losing the love of my life in a car accident a few days ago. Every minute spent together is more precious than words can express and there is nothing I want more for Christmas than to simply be in the company of the ones I love. Our dining table has been with us for twenty seven years and is an irreplaceable part of our family history because our children grew up around it. But we’ve never had nice chairs . Elegant chairs worthy of a Christmas celebration like no other!! So I’m dreaming of a Bentwood Christmas,…..an ‘original Vienna Bentwood in Beetroot Christmas,’ our table dressed with a Silver Trellis tablecloth and Silver Confetti napkins. I would lay out our silver cutlery, pick gardenias from the garden, light some white candles tied with Beetroot and silver ribbon , then sit down with my family. My heart would burst with gratitude and love.

I’d colour my world 50’s style with 1 of each pink, yellow, blue and white BENTWOOD chairs, gold confetti table cloth and an assortment of colored napkins that match the chair colour! Cheerful? yes Retro yes ? matching? No and just the way I love it!

Jump into my dream!!!!! Imagine waking upon Christmas morning to my table looking out over the countryside with sparling flute glasses filled with champagne and strawberries , seated on my Original Red Bentwood chairs complimented by white dinnerware, shiny silver cutlery and beautiful crisp Asha red cloth and matching napkins and best of all hubby serving brekky. Oh what a dream!! Merry Christmas everyone and a Very Happy and Prosperous New Year xx

We have a vintage bentwood chair, passed down through the family, and given to us by my Mother In Law. It is the most treasured piece we own. I am always running my hand over the top rail, thinking about the stories it could tell from times past. The timber has a beautiful patina, that only gets better with time. It is a beautifully designed and well made piece. I would so love to add 4 more bentwoods to our home. These too would be passed down through the family, and treasured by generations to come. I would choose 4 bentwoods in the grey, a modern take on classic style, a Ketana Kelly Green tablecloth, and silver confetti napkins.

Hi Jen – my dream table setting would include the classic black bentwood chairs and the Asha Kelly Green table cloth and napkins for a splash of my favourite colour. We have spent the last 12 months renovating our unit and have finally finished! Now it is time for the fun part – decorating! We look forward to replacing all of our hand-me-down furniture to really complete our home. The stylish bentwood chairs would be a much appreciated replacement for our 1990s wooden chairs with lilac leather cushion seats! Unfortunately 1990s furniture has not made a comeback during this retro trend and I’m certain it never will!!
Thanks for the opportunity to enter this great competition and merry Christmas!

Thanks so much for this opportunity! I’d love the original white Brentwood chairs! Can’t go past them or could I? Maybe the natural wood? Oh now I’m not sure. Stick with the white… I’d pick the Asha Kelly green table cloth (that’s meant to be) and I’d go crazy for the Zahra orange napkins.
Merry Christmas! And thanks for the fun anyway πŸ™‚

I would love to win this it is amazing classic fresh and absoultly amazing im lost for words on how beautifull this is

These chairs remind me of my pa.
He loved working with wood and I remember
Him repairing my mums bentwood chairs many
Many years ago.
I think of him every time I see them.
How wonderful to have some bentwood chairs of my own,
Not just because of their great design and gorgeous
colours, but to have a piece of my childhood in my own home
I would choose the pink chairs with the silver confetti tablecloth
and the Marrakech hot pink napkins.
Thank you for this opportunity .

Two black Brentwoods and two red Brentwood chairs please and the same black and red scheme with the table setting.
Opposing settings of 2 black dinner settings and two red with gorgeous silverware and stunning glasses.
Top it all off with a pop of white and or grey as the table centre piece brings the eye to the beauty of the table.

What a beautiful and colourful collection! It is just so hard to choose when there are so many styles and themes to go with. I absolutely love the White Bentwood Chairs with Natural Socks, the Rommani Indigo Tablecloth, and the Marrakech Yellow Napkins. That took me so long to choose, I just wish I had them all.

This is just such a lovely and wonderful competition. Thanks Jen and RelaxHouse and The Brown Trading Co. for the opportunity! There are some great stories and really deserving people already but thought I would give it a shot! I would love to win two of the Bentwood chairs in Aqua Blue and two in Lemon Yellow. These colours match the Swedish Flag very well and I think would look lovely around a vintage white oak dining table (one day!). I always think good and happy thoughts with these colours:) Can never be sad sitting on a Bentwood Chair. For extra pops of colour on the table I thought the Zahra Red tabelcloth and the Ketana Navy napkins. Can never go wrong with a bit of red and blue and white!

Hi Jen, Great competition and very timely too as we have just found out we will be having four extra family members for Christmas and staying for much of the month of January due to a last minute interstate move for work. If our family won, the chairs and napery would really get to be brought out and used everyday as we eat in our indoor/outdoor dining area, everyday when we can weather permitting, for most of summer I grew up sitting on the classic and timeless Bentwoods at the dinner table and would really love a set of four to spoil my family today. So as our Christmas theme is nautical in nature this year, and we have the sun and the greenery coming in from our garden, my choice would be two White and two A18 grey Bentwoods, coordinated with the tablecloth from the Brown Trading Co in Morocco collection in Marrakesh Indigo tablecloth and interspersed with splashes of colour from the napkins for each guest in the denser patterned, Zahra red and orange napkins to bring out the colour in the table – the colours of a quintessential Australian Christmas and summer. Thanks Jen, Merry Christmas!

thes chairs bring back such happy memories of my long ago childhood. In my Grandmothers kitchen, with the smell of her scones baking in the wood stove.

Hey lid love the black bent wood chairs with dark blue with stripped line….classy!!!!

The scene is set,
the Christmas table laid.
Glamorous gold trellis table cloth
for feasting in the shade.

White Bentwood chairs
with their natural socks,
and Asha Kelly green napkins
placed over Christmas frocks.

Lunch at OUR place
for the Very First Time.
Ham, Christmas crackers and table sublime,
won maybe with this little rhyme…

I love the white Brentwood chairs with natural socks, they are just gorgeous! I would team them with the Brown Trading’s Silver confetti table cloth and Asha navy napkins….

This week Im about to finish a huge part of my studies as an Interior Designer. For the past 2 years I have sat at my desk on my rickety 90 year old Brentwood, wondering whether it will hold me up for much longer. Would be a really ace way to celebrate my hard work πŸ˜‰ Thanks Jen

The Black Thonet Vienna Bentwoods are calling my name (although the red and beetroot ones are teasing me mercilessly… perhaps just one of them for the corner of the kitchen!) As for linen, I think I would mix and match all the bold patterns and colours of the napkins depending on mood and the colours of the meal ;D No doubt they would make it into my food photography asap!

I actually used to own 2 of these bentwood chairs back in the eighties, inherited from my nana, and I painted them LAVENDER….to go with an old farmhouse table I painted TURQUOISE?!! Clearly I was ahead of my time maybe?! (lots of vintage china….) These days…I am a little more sedate. Definitely LOVING the dramatic black with natural ‘socks’ and would team them with a silver confetti tablecloth with Zahra orange napkins and pop some peace lillies in the middle of the table, with the champers!!

I’d love the four chairs to be different colours – 1 Aqua Blue, 1 Pink original, 1 lemon yellow and 1 light grey – I love the ecclectic look of the unmatched pieces and it would make a great feature of them. I’d also choose the Ketana Orange tablecloth (180×400), plus Zahra Navy napkins – Navy goes with anything!

Thanks so much for the chance to win this amazing prize. Each year I say this Christmas I’m going to get it right!!! What better way to spend a family christmas then at a beautiful table setting. Finally I might just get it right and spoil my special family. I’m thinking a mix of colour pink, yellow, white and blue Bentwood chairs and a mix in the Relax table linen too, to create a relaxed beachy boho feel. Thanks again and Merry Christmas x

Funnily enough I was swooning/dreaming over some bentwood chairs earlier today…then came across this comp just now! …Destiny…I think so!! Love, love the classic black or white bentwoods with the timber ‘socks’ and the gold trellis cloth & napkins. Match in perfectly with my Christmas theme & my home for that matter!
Cheers!

Classic and simple, I’d have to go with white bentwood chairs, Silver Trellis tablecloth and Silver Confetti napkins. Perfect for our first Christmas dinner on newly laid floorboards. Thanks for the inspiration!

I’ve just bought an apartment in Brisbane and I’m moving up from Melbourne so I’m basically starting afresh! I plan on buying an Eero Saarinen marble tulip table and I’d love to have 4 bentwood chairs for it. I’d love 4 grey chairs and the Asha Kelly green tablecloth. To mix it up I’d like the Zahra Navy napkins πŸ™‚

I love the silver chairs, silver confetti tablecloth and silver trellis napkins. Very elegant!

I would pick the Original Vienna 18 Bentwood Dining Chair w Seat Pad, the Asha Red 45 x 45 placemat and the Asha Orange 150 x 250, we would love to have a gorgeous new setting like this in our house as we have only ever had hand-me-downs.

For a combination that would have the versatility to shine in any room, whereever I may be living, I choose classic BLACK Bentwood chairs with Indian Red napery. Snappy and happy!

Just looking at these chairs make me want that French cafe look. Walnut Bentwood Chairs, Zahra Red tablecloth with matching napkins for that classic old wood and red, for that real coffee and croissants feel. Merci!

This is super exciting! I would adore this combination the black bentwood chairs with natural socks and the silver trellis table cloth and Zahra blue napkins.

A person who has a love for design and interiors has always envisaged four Thonet Designed A18 Lemon Yellow Vienna Bentwood Chairs around my round impeccably set table. The table featuring the Morocco Rommani Indigo table cloth & the Glamorous Silver Trellis Napkins.

Unfortunately this has not yet come to fruition, I live with my partner and like many young couples we face the challenges of rental apartment living in Sydney. With a well worn combined kitchen & dinning area injecting the room with a splash of Lemon Yellow, and the Rommani Indigo I feel these colour hues would whisk me away.

No longer do I hear the babies cry through the walls, or the children play loudly on the gym equipment in the childcare centre next door. The repeating geometric pattern compliments the setting & creates a fresh feel. I can now enjoy a chic & art deco kitchen & dining room, with the perfect balance of classic & contemporary.

I just adore the pink chairs and table linen, so girly and feminine, its the perfect colour for a perfect setting.

I have three words for you; black, indigo, natural wood. Ok that’s four words but you get the idea. The combination of these elements really puts some bang in my bonbon. I’m picturing my dining table surrounded by black bentwood chairs with natural socks, the Rommani table cloth in indigo and matching napkins. Ooooh yeah!

The sky blue would look amazing in my kitchen. First time having my own place and yet to have a small table setting and these would be perfect.

I would absolutely adore and cherish the gorgeous original white bentwood chairs, and the Asha Red napkins and tablecloth would be so perfectly festive for Christmas πŸ™‚
I deserve to win because several Christmases ago a particularly portly relative of ours ate a bit too much Christmas lunch and one of my favourite chairs was left without a leg to stand on… literally! We now have a hodgepodge of dining chairs and I have OCD – odd chair dilemma!

If I was lucky enough to win, which I never usually do, then it’ll have to be without a doubt the black Bentwood with the natural socks. And of course, the gold confetti napery and tablecloth. Thank you Jen…love your blog and Merry Christmas.

Black chairs with the natural socks combined with the Asha Orange tablecloth and Asha Kelly Green napkins would make for a bright fun look for sure! And I’d love to spread the Christmas cheer this year by gifting the Bentwood chairs and table linen to my gorgeous parents to say thanks for everything they’ve done for me. A special prize like this definitely deserves to go to the special people in my life πŸ™‚ thanks so much for the chance!

STOP!

Look no further… I have the answer!
It’s a ‘grey matter’ not to be confused with ‘grey area’ .

Grey matter includes regions of the brain that are involved in emotions, decision making and self control.
I am feeling emotional! (Cue drool worthy prize)
Yet, my descision making is clear! (See list below, it pays to be organised, Santa comes soon)
Though, it may appear I have lost self control! (Reasonable considering the situation)

A grey area is a topic that is unclear, whilst a grey area is a room dressed to impress in the finest most classic of grey and silver items! (Doesn’t get much more classic than a Bentwood or 4!)

The selection is simple:
4 x Grey A18 Thonet Vienna Bentwood Chairs
4 x Silver Confetti Napkins 45×45
1 x Silver Trellis Tablecloth 150×250

There is no grey area here! (I really want one though)
Just grey matter, going mad for RelaxHouse and Browns Trading Co ‘grey matter’

See… Makes perfect sense. (It really is a grey matter, for a grey area)

I would absolutely adore white bentwood chairs, teamed with a beautiful clash of prints with the gold confetti tablecloth and silver trellis napkins. Such simple, understated colours that could easily be dressed up with a big bouquet of white gardenias. Gold and silver bon bons and scattered candles would complete the look for christmas, but it could be enjoyed all year round. As a young designer I have a great appreciation for amazing design, but sadly not the budget to fulfill my chair obsession! If I were to win, I would be very greatful and enjoy these pieces for many, many years to come.

Oh wow, they’re so beautiful! I’d love the white ones, to replace my chairs which have started breaking, even though we’ve only had them for a year! πŸ™ So beautiful!
