Jen’s Lust List 04.06.17 (kid’s special)

This week, I happen to have seen a lot of cute kid’s stuff, so I thought I’d do a roundup of great looking things for the little people in your home.

How gorgeous are these bamboo plates from Emondo Kids?! A platypus and a a frill-necked lizard are among the other designs. Also a great gift idea if you’re wanting to buy something Aussie as for a friend overseas without it being tacky or garish! $42 each.

And my top tip for catching all the mess that ends up under the highchair is to buy a metre of oilcloth from Me Too Please for $14.95. It makes a stylish and cheap splash mat and wipe-ups are a breeze! All sorts of lovely designs available from florals and gingham to polkadots and fruit!

There are decals and there are decals and Love Mae’s fabric wall stickers are definitely the acceptable kind! Say no more… I love these whales. $79.95.

We recently made over Seb’s room with Pottery Barn Kids (and we’ll be revealing it later this month). While I was browsing their site this week, I fell for this cool cushion, part of their latest collaboration with fashion designers Emily Current & Meritt Elliot. $59.

I’ll be back with more next week!

Founder and director Kristy Withers said its Sydney store opening was the next logical step: “We have received great support from our customers since we opened our Bathurst store in 2012, but were constantly asked if we had a Sydney presence. We’re really excited to welcome existing Sydney customers and also introduce ourselves to a new pool of Incy fans.

The 10 best places to buy Aussie kids’ line online.

“Many customers still prefer to buy from a traditional bricks-and-mortar store. They like to touch and feel a product before they buy it, especially if it’s for their child.”

Product picks for an eco-friendly kids room

By Emma McDonald

With the rise of the more conscious, sustainable consumer — think fair trade, organic and environmentally friendly — some talented interior designers have been busy turning their creative minds to designing products with this ethos in mind. There are some truly beautiful homeware products available today, created by designers who place sustainability and fabulous design on equal footing.

We decided to go shopping, and style an eco-friendly kids bedroom. By sourcing sustainable products, not only are you purchasing a beautiful and often unique piece, but you’re purchasing their story, and we love our products having good ones. So happy shopping, conscious shopper. Your kids’ bedroom will look amazing!
