Gold + typography + positive affirmations = my idea of fun! I’m loving the latest print series from Papier d’Amour. Which will be your favourite?
Papier d’Amour’s huge sale kicks off today, with great deals to be had on Kate Spade, NY leather, gifts, luxury stationary and homewares.
With discounts of up to 50% until 22 June, you can shop both online or in person at the Sydney Double Bay store, snagging bargains that include their famous cockatoo lamps, crafts sets and retro telephones.
Interiors Addict readers can also get a further 5% off. All you have to do is enter the promo code SALEIA at checkout or print out and present the sale voucher (above) in store.
Shop online or visit their store at: 8 Cross Street, Double Bay NSW 2028. Happy shopping!
I love the personalised name pillowcases from Little Louli. Hand screenprinted and $35 each.
Fromage La Rue’s new, smaller letter lights, Petite Vegas, are not quite available yet but you can get your name on the waiting list for your little person’s letter (or indeed your own initial!). They’re about 30cm high and with safe, low voltage LED lights, perfect for a night light. They’ll be $150 with free shipping.
The new Cotton On Kids bed linen is fun, very affordable and available to buy online.
Shop at Sydney’s My Bespoke Chair for a custom chair (and even coordinating cushion) for your little prince or princess. You can even design it yourself online with their clever tool. From $850 with free delivery.
If I had a child, they’d have one of these Incy Interiors beds. I just love the rose gold version as it’ll go with most colour schemes and I mean really, what kid wouldn’t want a gold bed?! From $649 for a single, it’s a great update of a classic shape.
I’ve been a big fan of Aura linen for a long time, so I was happy to see they now do all their quilt covers in kid-friendly single size too. The brand does mix and match so well, you’re bound to find a cool combo for your kid! PERFECT for tweens and teens too.
These gold foiled prints from Papier d’Amour would look great in a child’s bedroom. $30 unframed or $80 framed. Buy online.
Armadillo & Co are pretty much Aussie rug royalty and if you’ve got money to spend, you should definitely consider something from their Junior Collection. They’re not too childish so they could easily take a child from toddler to teen years. From $255.
These colourful wire baskets from Lilly & Lolly are brilliant for chucking toys or laundry into and come in a variety of colours and sizes. From $22.
The Booksee is a great way to display kids books, making reading appealing and adding colour and interest to their walls. $199 for a set of two from Ubabub.
What are your favourite places to shop for kids rooms? I’d love to hear about them.
Gold and polkadots: two of my favourite things! Think of the fun you could have on your walls with these removable decals! And lucky for you, we’re giving some away!
We are giving away 7 packs of Papier d’Amour confetti dots (that’s 140 dots if you’re wondering) worth more than $100, to one lucky reader. Clearly, they’d be just as at home on a grown-up wall as in a kids bedroom, right?
Papier d’Amour know a thing or two about gift wrapping so it’s a pretty safe bet their pre-wrapped gift ideas will have recipients seriously impressed (they don’t need to know you didn’t do it yourself).
The Double Bay stationery and gift store has not 1 but 3 pop-ups this festive season at Westfield Sydney, Westfield Bondi Junction and Chatswood Chase.
This is dangerous. 20% off everything at Papier d’Amour in Sydney (its Double Bay store, its new MLC Centre popup shop and online) for four days only, from today.
Even if you’re not into stationery (hello, what’s wrong with you?!) you might take the opportunity to pick up the latest Kate Spade iPad case or phone cover, or some paper pompom decorations.
I have a bit of a stationery habit and having just signed off on my own wedding invitations I’ve become more than a little obsessed with all things paper! So I’m excited about the Papier d’Amour popup opening at Sydney’s MLC Centre next week. Its focus will be on creative workspaces and, as I’m also in the middle of transforming my own home office, I’m always keen for some tips.
As well as watching a variety of fun demos over the five weeks, you can also check out Papier d’Amour’s new bookcloth range (pictured), perfect for the stylish home. The boutique Double Bay stationery and gift store will open its popup on 6 June for five weeks, and every Thursday evening there’ll be a different demonstration. There’ll be plenty of gorgeous goods to browse and buy too, including art by Melbourne’s Emma Cleine of Lumiere Art + Co and paper artist Samantha Gazal.
