Our pick of Cotton On Home’s Autumn/Winter 2017 collection

CO:HOME launches its Autumn/Winter 2017 collection early next month with a number of notable product additions. “As the weather cools down, CO:HOME has everything you need to refresh your space and stay cosy indoors. We’re excited to be expanding the range and the introduction of our new lighting, art and gifting categories will really round out the CO:HOME offering, ensuring we have something to suit every style and budget,” says CO:HOME brand manager Vanessa Ross of the collection that starts at a super affordable $9.95.

The new range features canvas wall art

New for the brand, the table light styles are rather lovely with terrazzo featuring in milk, sage and terracotta colour ways. “For instant style credibility, tap into the terazzo trend with the contemporary Theron lamp. It’s a real statement piece featuring a terrazzo concrete base and chic black cord and it will make a striking addition to your side table, nightstand or desk,” says Vanessa.

Theron lamp in terracotta, $39.95

Abstract canvas wall art also features with a variety of natural timber frames too. Plus, the overall colour palette is another highlight – think mustard, olive, plum, faded emerald, powder pink and neutral tones in a variety of prints, textures and glazes. And speaking of wood, we’re particularly taken with the Anki serving set in blush (below) – not only is the colour combination gorgeous but it’s a versatile piece too.

Cotton On Home Anki Serving Set Blush $49.95

The new range also features loungewear that will keep you looking stylish (yet comfortable!) at home – robes, cardigans, slippers, tanks, tops and pants in soft jersey, fleece and knit materials abound.

Cotton On Home Britt Cushion Multi $69.95
Cotton On Home Remy storage large grey marle, $34.95

The bedding range is stylish and diverse with apricot, sky blue and multiple shades of grey featuring. The Elliot quilt cover is a particular fave with its bold abstract design paired with soft pastel colouring.

Exclusive behind the scenes photos from the Mark Tuckey + Cotton On collection

The hotly anticipated Mark Tuckey + Cotton On collection launches this Friday (read all about it here) and between you and me I can’t wait to get my hands on their beautifully designed, affordable pieces.

Mark and Louella
Mark and Louella

So to whet your appetite just that little bit more, we have all the behind the scenes photos from the collection’s inaugural photo shoot; where you can catch a glimpse of not just the homewares, but Mark and Louella Tuckey (of Mark Tuckey) in action.

With the collection categorised by Eat, Drink, Relax, Store, Bathe and Sleep; everything is made with quality natural materials such as cotton, linen and timber. Marking Cotton On’s first foray into homewares, they had long wanted to collaborate with another brand, and furniture makers Mark Tuckey felt like a natural fit to everyone. “Cotton On knew of the Mark Tuckey brand since its early days and originally approached us to discuss store fit-outs but it quickly became a conversation about homewares,” explains Louella. “Cotton On had wanted to create a homewares brand for its adults’ business for some time and collaborating with another brand had always been on their radar.”

With the concept of the Mark Tuckey + Cotton On collaboration being in line with Mark and Louella’s core business objective – to create products they love and want in their own home, they believe this new partnership echoes that same passion. “We’ve created an authentic and honest collection featuring a natural palette with pops of colour and a focus on good, clean design at exceptional prices. It’s similar to Mark Tuckey in the fact that everything has been designed here in Australia; the main difference is the more accessible price point. It’s really exciting to think that we’ll be introducing the Mark Tuckey brand to new customers and homes across the globe.”

With so many products on offer from mugs and chopping blocks to bedding and bath mats, the biggest challenge for Louella is naming her favourite product. “My favourite product is the hand knitted Cable Blanket in natural cotton. But then I also love the wool Ottoman Bean Bag Cover and I love the fragrances we’ve developed for our Woodnote Candles. We have a smokey wood scent that I’m going to stock up on for home.”

The collection will launch online this Friday and in select Cotton On stores from Wednesday 8 July.

Cotton On KIDS are back with a second linen and bedroom range!

After a hugely successful initial collection earlier this year, Cotton On KIDS are back with a second linen and bedroom range. It’s wonderful and just quietly, I’m a little excited that the linen goes up to queen size!

cotton_on_kids_room_aug_sept_0006
Due to hit stores and online in late September, one half of the design duo behind Cotton On KIDS, Sarah Lawrence, says customers can expect to see a range of fresh new styles including soft pastels, polkadots and tassels for girls and bright block colours, bold zigzags and stripes for boys.

“The new collection houses a fabulous range of bed linen including colourful sprinkle sheets and loads of fun new cushions that will look equally as fabulous with the first range as they do with other styles in this new drop,” explains Sarah. “We have also focused more on bedroom decor in this collection with geometric-print lanterns, tulle-covered fairy lights, statement garlands and brightly coloured wall stickers in all shapes and sizes.”

cotton_on_kids_room_aug_sept_0114

Designed to be mixed and matched, the range aims to inspire kids and parents to re-create their bedrooms and turn them into a sanctuary where they can sleep, dream, play and have fun. The 100 percent cotton linen range is available in a variety of designs suitable for single, double and queen size beds, ensuring everyone in the house including toddlers, teens, and even the big kids (me!) can have fun revamping their bedrooms with fun, bright and on-trend styles.

Cotton On Kids branch into homewares with first kids bed linen and room range

Cotton on Kids will launch one of its most exciting product categories yet on Monday — its first children’s bed linen and room range.

cotton_on_kids_space_0124_RGB_FA

The 100% cotton bed linen is available in a range of designs suitable for single, double and queen size beds, ensuring there is something for toddlers to teens, and even the big kids in the house who share the same passion for fun, bright, fashion-driven prints!

cotton_on_kids_space_0134_RGB_FA

The collection includes a range of stylish and fun sheet sets, reversible quilt covers and cushions, printed paper lanterns, removable chalkboards and other decorative accessories. All styles are designed to be mixed and matched, inviting kids and parents to explore their creative side and transform any bedroom into a space to dream, play, sleep, invent and, most importantly, have fun.

cotton_on_kids_space_0081_RGB_FA

The concept for the new range was born after Cotton On Kids design duo, Peta Baldacchino and Sarah Lawrence, discovered they shared a common frustration about the lack of affordable, fun and stylish homewares in the kids market. “The aim was to steer away from traditional girl and boy bedding options to ensure there was a combination of bright colours, fun patterns and most importantly, a collection that kids and parents will both love,” Sarah says.

cotton_on_kids_space_0037_RGB_FA

The pair were inspired by simple Scandinavian children’s designs, and then added the Cotton On Kids touch by adding a pop of colour here, there and everywhere.

The range launches online and in store on Monday 7 April 2014. Prices start at $19.95 for a single fitted sheet through to $69.95 for a queen doona cover.
